I couldnt believe today of all days I couldnt get on here :rolleyes:!! I am shocked that they found her and so happy! She is going to need some major counseling to have dealt with a life like that! She is going to have some major problems with so many things it just breaks my heart :( I hope those two are taken care of in the prison population! Her caretakers ( cant call them parents :behindbar ) are taken out they dont deserve to ever see the light of day again!

Maybe they have her with grandparents now. But this is scary her being with family when the reason they think he left Vegas before all this came up was because they think his family tipped him off about the charges against him in 2004 with a young girl . I'd have to think twice before I would release her to anyone in that family.

I am reading the Smoking Gun document... this is my take: it was the warrant from a few years ago that the family told him about. I am taking a stab in the dark, but that earlier warrant may be for molesting this child... that his abusing Madison had already been on the radar and he has been fleeing the warrant for over 3 years... now the tape shows up and shows that not only was he molesting her, but also raping her as well.

God Bless You Christine. My daughter was sexually,emotionally and physically abused before we adopted her at the age of 5. She did not cry for 3 years and still does not dream at the age of 24. She still has lots of problems after years of counseling, stability and love. The psychologist said she may never overcome the earlier damage. Where ever her mind took her ,to survive what was being done to her body, although it kept her alive, it also prevents her from getting close to anyone. She continues to have severe behavorial and emotional problems.

I've been through this starting at age 6 - and as they said she's been through it before - she wasn't screaming or crying or anything like that - it's just pure resolve....why did this SOB have this much access to her? So the family is at fault in some regard even if they didn't know what was going on - they had an obligation to know (if that makes sense in writing) No one ever bothered to know what was going on with me and for 6 years I endured hell - my parents should have figured it out or at the very least figured out something was wrong.....so I don't blame them completely but they are there to protect her and they were clearly not doing that job. So I think they need to take a step back and see who knew what and who was letting her be with whom and why before they say she is now "safe"......I don't know if this makes sense the whole issue gets me a bit emotional......

I have read the news reports of this man being sought for abuse. I saw the child's face and was thinking how terrible and life altering it has been for her.I wish I could hold her forever and let her know that everyone is not like that. I think Madison looks 3 in the pics - so she would be older, 5/6 right now.

When Stiles fled Nevada in 2003, he went to what has to be El Cajon, California - the Smoking Gun has a document that states El Chon, California - but I don't think there is any such place. Phonetically, El Chon could be interpreted as El Cajon, which is in the San Diego area and very accessible to Las Vegas - I think 6 hours by car? I'm an Orange County native and have only driven from Las Vegas to O.C, which we did in 5 hours, I believe.

So, he fled Nevada in 2003, and came back to Pahrump in time to peep on the older girl in 2005 - but he has never been apprehended.

Madison may very well be from the El Cajon or San Diego area.

DeltaDawn, I said the same thing. If there's a mother in her life she had to have known and allowed it.

Anyone close to that child had to notice either physical changes AND definite mental/acting out issues. There's no way she went through a minimum of 30 minutes of horrifying acts and stayed "normal" afterwards.

We all know from her lack of emotion (per LE) on that tape that she was subjected to much more than 30 minutes of this in her sweet little life. There had to be a lot of acting out, or she's developmentally delayed and doesn't act typical in the first place. :(

Comment I have re Madison's age. If this is Stiles daughter per the info posted earlier, that girl will be 10 this Nov. I have a close family member almost same age. I went to Big Bend Nat'l park a few years ago and just over the border there was an old, creepy, abandoned Dow Chemical plant (where they no doubt dumped all kinds of nasty pollution into the river without having to follow US environmental- or other- laws..... jerks).. Anyway... a local told me there were people living over there (which seemed unbelievable,, by the looks of it..) and when I inquired more, he said (with a disapproving smirk), it's believed there were deadbeat dads, escaping child support, living in the 'compound'. It gave me the creeps and I couldn't help but wonder what other kinds of fugitives & low lifes lived there too.
It was kind of an outlaw camp in the middle of nowhere, on the edge of civilzation. Probably a long shot,, but I wonder if authorities have checked there lately? If not, it's probably long overdue for a raid. supposedly Stiles did live in Texas at one time.... do you all think this is worth passing on to someone? Surely the cops know about it & check it out once in a while... but you never know.

You can convert your recordings from a camcorder to either media-tape/dvd, but you would need special equipment/wires etc depending on which you are doing. That can get expensive, especially if it's digital.

This wasn't a digital camcorder so he probably still used vcr's to watch (or convert to). Blech.

I think if you were going into the home porn business you would use a vcr to record the tape to because it is easier to make copies. If you wanted it for your own use wouldn't you just use a memory card in your video recorder and play it from that hooked up to yur tv or computer. And Southern Cal would be a good place to set up a little business like that..lots of areas where no one cares what yu do and close to the border. Kind of like Vegas was probably for him in the beginning.

You know I've been thinking. Just because we just found out about this tape doesn't mean someone in Madison's family didn't know about it earlier. Maybe they got her out of that situation (possibly as early as right after that video) and she's been getting help already. I hope so. I don't think we should jump to conclusions here. I know MANY people who haven't heard about this. Actually no one I've spoken to about it has. I had to fill them in. It's possible her mother was one who didn't watch tv or read the paper. My husband is like this.

I have a friend that works for the police dept. locally and she hadn't heard anything about it. She works the night shift and sleeps during the day. I would have thought the police would have had a poster or something up.

It also states this happened on 12/13/2003, but the final doc wasn't signed until 07/24/07!

ETA: I noticed what I think was a mispelling of the place where he may have been. It says El Chon, but I'm sure it was was in fact El Cajon which is in San Diego County!

You can convert your recordings from a camcorder to either media-tape/dvd, but you would need special equipment/wires etc depending on which you are doing. That can get expensive, especially if it's digital.

This wasn't a digital camcorder so he probably still used vcr's to watch (or convert to). Blech.
