A couple is arrested after a toddler has a fit while hallucinating on Ecstasy in Lake Arrowhead, Calif.



Mom is a nurse and her boyfriend is a fire captain..go figure.:snooty: :mad: :loser:

Wow--at least it was an accident, and at least they DID seek medical care. That must have been so scary for the little girl.

Hope the child is permanently removed from them. She, as does every other child, deserves to be raised in a safe, healthy environment.

What do you bet they sought help because they thought they were CTA's.

How terrible. That poor baby girl. I doubt that they will let them take her home but I would also bet that they will get her back at some time. They will probably have to take some drug classes!

I agree. Plenty of people would not have sought medical help just to save their own skin. My prayers for this little girl.

I hope the little girl recovers fully, the poor little dear and her mother and boyfriend charged accordingly. Where were these adults when the brains were being handed out.....stupid, stupid, stupid.

I don't get it. Two educated people on vacation, and it's a family vacation with a child present. The video showed a beautiful area. Why did they feel the need to "enhance" their vacation experience with drugs? They had the vacation, the family...why the drugs? I just don't get people.

How pathetic is that? Sadly, they seemed to be pretty responsible people based off their jobs, but they can't seem to keep their recreation drugs out of the reach of their daughter?

Hopefully, this is a wake up call for many parents who see this story.

I saw a video not that long ago where a woman gave her child X, then taped it and posted a video of her daughters reaction to it on a video-sharing site....like she was proud of it.

At least these people called 911 and got her help.

yes it was an accident. But accidents happen when one takes ectasy while caring for ones children. The article I read said they were under the influence.

You'd be surprised at the number of high-functioning, seemingly successful people who use drugs recreationally over weekends and vacations. In many workplaces, random drug testing is a joke, and unless you look as if you're under the influence, you have nothing to fear.

Random alcohol and drug tests are carried out all the time here which I think is a great idea.
