There is great concern over the disappearance of a young mother in Suffolk County. Vinessa Hoera, 23, was last seen at work on Friday, and her burned-out car was found a day later. Adding to the mystery, a hospitalized co-worker's car was also torched.

The two burning cars were found hours apart Saturday morning, one in Ronkonkoma, the other in Southampton.

Each belonged to an employee of a small East End seafood store. Neither car had license plates. And, both had been parked on the side of roads far from where their owners lived.

A Guatemalan national held in the Riverhead jail in connection with the February disappearance of Vinessa Hoera allegedly confessed to her killing as well as disclosing her body’s location, sources said yesterday.
According to John Lombardi, an associate of the girl’s father, Mark Hoera, Faustino Chavez, 26, admitted yesterday in a conversation at the jail with the two men that he had killed the girl and disposed of her body in an undisclosed area of Southampton Town.
