An American couple accused of raping a severely handicapped four-year-old girl on tape were arrested today in the Toronto area.

John Stoneman and Patricia Kelly of Kipling, Ohio, were arrested without incident.

Further details of the arrest were not available.

Kelly, a former home-care nurse, and her boyfriend, Stoneman, are wanted for terrorizing the child, who cannot move or talk, last June

THANK UUUUUUUU for the post Cass. I'm sure these are the sick f(*&*^^&%^&%%^%&^(*& people that I've been seeing on AMW too. Thank lord. It's been in the back of my mind for so long. These people are beyond sick. This child was trusted in their care and I think if memory serves me, poor little girl had spinal issues too. Jail is way to good for these inhumane slugs. :banghead: :furious:

go to recent captures at bottom and click on their names, it gives a detailed sad sick story. Poor baby was 4 years old. This has got my blood boiling. Give me 20 minutes with this *&*(^&*% and I'll show him what pain really is.

Hi Casshew,

Thanks for the welcome!:)

I'll let you guys know how this turns out. One good thing: they are not MG's types...he's got his hands full right now anyway.

We have had a couple other people busted around our county in the past couple weeks for child pornography. I wonder is my area especially bad or is it like this everywhere?

Several years ago here there were two young girls picked up by a man in a white van. He took them down a back road and just as he was turning onto another (not real busy) road (that parralled the interstate).
(I70) they jumped out and RAN. I think he was from WV and was eventually captured. [ I70 E off onto I77 S in a minute or two]

Then, there was the little girl from Lancaster ( about an hour away) who was nailed up into the attic. I still remember her name, but as she is probably 9 or almost 9 by now,
I won't post it. Thankfully, she was found alive four days later! Scared, hungry, thirsty, and hypothermic, BUT alive. It seems that he could not dispose of her as the area was crawling with police, neighborhood searchers, and bloodhounds so he boarded here up ( duct taped and naked) into the attic!!!! :furious: The (young!) man responsible for this had previously been busted in Cosh. County for child molestation!

Am I alone (doubt it) in thinking that these kinds of crimes deserve the death penalty?

So sorry...I am ranting!

Thaks again for the welcome Cass...I honestly feel like I know half of you websluethers already...been lurking way too long! ;)

Ariel, there are literally thousands of cases we could talk about where children are the victims of someones lust. Imagine how many we don't hear about?

I do not think your area is high for this type of crime, I think it is like that everywhere, cities, towns, rural areas.. Europe, Canada, Asia, USA.. it happens EVERYWHERE! all the time... the scary part is these creeps are just getting more and more brazen in taking kids.

over 4000 Priests.. Catholic priests accused of raping boys and girls, over and over... all over the world, huge cover ups & conspiracy within the Church. That 4000 figure is just the tip of the iceberg... IMO and some of these molested kids, grow up to repeat the cycle of violence on others.. creating more victims and potentially more preditors.

It gets me so depressed, cruelty & sickness everywhere ~ you have to teach your kids how to escape, flight, kick, scream... you have to be very careful out there in todays world :(

Hi & welcome, Ariel7, how are you? I see you are aquainted with our lovely Cass, she's lovely, but she drinks.....you should join us in the parking lot for one or ten.(LOL)

But seriously, I want to do something for these children. Ariel, you said you bombarded media with requests to publicize a crime, how effective was that???
I would like to do something of a similar nature.
Although I wish I had a lot of time and money to commit to this cause, I don't, but if I (we?) could start out drawing attention to these crimes, maybe that would be a start?

I would love to hear any and all input.

Hi Brefie,

Not very effective I'm sorry to say. I really figure that they don't even read/lilsten to much that comes to them---they have so much to do.
~But~ Matters like this are so truly important! So much more important than much of what they report.

I am thinking now that contacting good radio talk programs (my faves: VCY America's Cross Talk and Janet Folger's Faith 2 Action)and mobilizing others to call en mass may be effective (i.e. Terri Shiavo (see terrisfight.org
for the REAL story...her "beloved" husband is as bad as ISP!)) in getting coverage for these children. I really don't know what else to do...my printer doesn't work else I'd be a poster printer for sure...it just seems that if the regular media had covered this and aired their (Stoneman's and Kelly's) pics
early enough they never would've been on the run so long.

Let me know if you have any ideas.

Blessings,

Tracy

( I no longer get watch news on the tv,though...trying to protect my children from TOO much fear. Sad, I've had to tell them about bad pictures...
bad people...bad this...bad that. What to do.What not to do,etc. ad infinitum. Though I've tried to protect them from hearing much of what was
in the news...they still know way more about the evil in this world than I ever imagined when I was their age. It's such a tight line that we need to walk as parents. How do you give your kids the knowledge and skills to protect themselves WITHOUT scaring them half to death or making them think the whole world is out to get them? I've told my children that if someone ( a store worker or whatever) was talking to them in MY presence(sp?) not to worry because they are probably just being nice. It's the people that try to engage the children away from adult supervision...that try to gain their trust or offer things or ask them for help apart from other adults'
vision that are to be looked out for and fought against with all your might.

There have been times my dd has asked about related things (can't quite remember what) and I've told her where to hit and how to fight and scream.
Also, added that I didn't think anything was EVER going to happen...Still,
little Samantha Runion's momma never thought anything would really happen to her beautiful little girl.No one ever thinks this kind of thing will touch them personally.

So, I trust, pray, and teach when it is appropriate.

Scary thing: my son (5) is SO boy! Rambunctious but kind. VEry friendly and outgoing...I doubt he's met an enemy yet. I let him and his sis out front for a little bit (usually I am with them). Next thing you know someone is knocking at my door-it hasn't even been 5 minutes! It was a man from my husband's work who stopped by to see him a bout a car. Anyway, he parked at the bottom of our long drive (the car was down there) and walked up. My daughter ran to the backyard; my son decided that he looked "nice" so he stayed put and kept playing. UGH! Back to the drawing board!

What a task!!! I have no children yet, but I can imagine how hard it is to warn them of the dangers, yet preserve their innocence. One aspect I do not look forward to.

for terrorizing the child, who cannot move or talk It always seems to be the helpless these perverts prey on. In California a pair of Recovery Service workers were arrested for what they did to a baby girl's corpse enroute to the mortuary.

Definitely! Better yet: I believe these kind of crimes all but demand the death penalty. ~ MHO only.

Toth,
That is just awful ! So gross and evil...it defies comment!!!

Thanx for the update Ariel... I wonder why they are going with the Grand Jury instead of a regular trial? and heck, I can't believe they are not just pleading guilty.... the whole rape is on tape for crying out loud, plus they distributed it :behindbar :behindbar :behindbar
