Fremont Police Departmentis asking for the public's help in locating a girl who has been missing for three weeks.

Danika Ordonez, 15, was reported missing by her family at 8:20 p.m. on Oct. 14.

They told police she had last been seen Oct. 13 at 7:30 p.m., at a Washington High School football game.

Police said Ordonex has been reported missing twice in the past, but has never been gone more than 5 days.

She is described as white, standing 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair to her shoulders.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, white shoes and a grey fleece sweater with the word "Hollister" written on the front, police said.

Anyone with information regarding Danika Ordonez or her whereabouts is asked to call the Fremont Police Department at (510) 790-6900.

I have someone checking into this. If I hear anything further, I will post it. I think the fact that she has done this a couple times before, gives it a low priority for an over-burdened PD. It's strange that the parents waited 3 weeks to report this, so that would also decrease the urgency. Let's hope she's all safe and sound and just being a rebellious teen.

My read of the article is that the family reported her missing after approximately 24 hours, but that she has now been missing for three weeks. (Which is kind of weird because it has actually only been two weeks; but when has the news media ever been completely accurate anyhow? :) )
