Authorities have suspended their search for a man believed to have jumped off the Mackinac Bridge.
Witnesses reported seeing a man jump Friday night from near the center of the 5-mile-long bridge.
A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter and boat searched the area, assisted by a passing cargo ship.

(Authorities believe the man is 65 years old and from downstate Michigan, but they have not released his name or hometown.)
