I was told by a friend of the Kennedy family that Melissa does not remember much about her two weeks away. That sounds to me like a possible fugue state, which would also go with the fact that she was under a lot of stress at school. I wonder if Melissa has ever been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

There was a girl in Canada that went missing for ?? 6 weeks. She was ?abducted by a trucker and somewhere in western USA, there was a guy watching his satelite TV and saw her picture, recognized her and she was brought back. Doctors claim that some severe type of trauma happened and a type of amnesia occurs that blocks out the entire event. I hope that's not the case here.
