Drew bing older is much cockier than Scott, but they both think they are smarter than everyone else.

Both are narcissists. That is why they have the same demeanor.

Narcissists need constant "ego feeds" and when the present spouse is no longer enamoured with the narc. he casts them off for a new one to use to feed his ego. It is as simple as that & as complicated a personality disorder that is usually untreatable! The narcissist rarely admits there is anything wrong with him, nor can they see there is anything wrong with them, but blames others around him, which makes it so untreatable.
