Dover police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 64-year-old man who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and depression.


Police said Eugene Faulkner went to Kent General Hospital on Thanksgiving Day, but left prior to being treated. He was reported missing by family members on Monday.

Faulkner was described as 6 feet tall, weighing 115 pounds, with brown eyes and a thin build.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 736-7111.

The body of a missing Dover man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease was discovered Tuesday night after police officers conducted a terrain search of the property near his home.

Dover police Capt. Lester Boney said 64-year-old Eugene Faulkner disappeared Thanksgiving Day after going to Kent General Hospital and leaving before receiving treatment.
