I thought I would go ahead and make a thread for this while we are all waiting for it to be posted! I know I am getting impatient here. Cassandra seemed to believe it was going to be HUGE! I do wish they would hurry up with it!

Here is the link to Newsweek: http://www.newsweek.com/ I believe the article will be under National news when it is posted.

I'm axious to read it also! I went to the website and read an earlier article they had and got a big chuckle where they quoted another officer saying how he was "just average" as far as his police work went, where DrewP had built himself up in what a great one he was lol I bet that is really bothering him. Good for that officer speaking out :)

Sorry, Janet! I wanted to comment that other articles from today are out on the Newsweek site, but the latest on DP is not. By this time, I would expect them to have posted it, if they were going to, especially if it was a "bombshell" like Cassandra had thought. I find it strange. Anyone else feel it should be out by now? Wouldn't Newsweek be concerned that another news outlet could beat them to the story?

Hi JanetElaine. Mwahahaha. :D

I think I've read every article on that site. I used to like the actual magazine. I had no idea such good content was there free!

What I've wondered about since she said it would be a bombshell and it could put him away for life is, if Newsweek has that info then wouldn't the police have it too and wouldn't they have arrested him already then? :waitasec:

I spent all darn day on the computer and I had a lot of stuff to do.... I hate when I do this. :o :D

Maybe that was the info Cassandra meant and they put it out yesterday instead of today.. maybe "the undisclosed location" is disclosed now to the police and they are searching for her body there..still hoping they find her soon.

The only person I can think they could interview that would be able to put DP away for life would be....Thomas Morphey. Hmmm...I wonder if they tracked him down?!

I'm afraid my hubby will send me to some kind of Websleuth's recovery hospital. I jump away from the 'puter and pretend I was doing laundry when I see his car pull in the drive. If he is tapping my computer use he's got me now...busted!

(maybe we need WS -recovery- spa!)

From Gretawire. It looks like Greta is looking for the Newsweek article too! :)

December 3rd, 2007 9:03 AM Eastern
MONDAY NOTE: (http://gretawire.foxnews.com/2007/12/03/monday-note-2/)

by Greta Van Susteren
It is Monday and we are off running….making all sorts of plans for the week (and, of course, breaking news will disrupt all these plans…..) Here is what I do know, we will be covering the latest from Bolingbrook, Illinois (I keep getting emails from people that Newsweek Magazine is going to have some breaking news in it about Bolingbrook ?????)….we have swapped out OTR producer Steph Watts on the ground for OTR producers Cory Howard and Kerry O’Connor (and if you read GretaWire over the weekend you know that Kerry had the journey from hell getting to Bolingbrook)….we have an interviewed scheduled with a Presidential candidate (and our timing, while simply luck, is good….you will figure out why I write this as the week marches on and assuming all goes as planned…..)…tonight we will get the latest in the Natalee Holloway story…there is disappointing news out of Aruba but nonetheless I want the inside story of what happened and I assume you do, too…and yes, we will have the inside story assuming all the promises made to us over the weekend are kept….there is much much more….
…..I have not yet spoken to my executive producer…when I do, she will remind me of the other things we have planned for the week (I have not had my coffee yet and I am sure there are other things planned but I have not yet remembered….)…so I will blog soon with an update…check back

If you look at the Newsweek website, the latest issue is December 10th. That issue was out before Cassandra made her announcement. I think and hope that the article is in the next issue to be dated the 17th.

I wonder with all the leaks last week, if LE killed the story.

Suzi:

That exact thought crossed my mind also. Cass was so positive that it was coming out December 3rd. And now it's not in the Dec. 10th magazine. I also think the article was silenced to not jeopardized what LE has so far and what they still need to be able to make either an arrest or at least bring DP in for formal questioning.

I'm thinking that may be the case SQ. Nothing should have been mentioned about the article until it was published IMO.

OK, so who was interviewed? One of the current players or someone we don't know about yet?

I noticed when I looked at the Newsweek site that they have done several stories on Stacy.
So they are doing a series? Was Cass interviewed? When was she interviewed? I was thinking that since she was talking about it last week, maybe she was interviewed last week. If so, it would take more than a week to get it written, approved and off to be printed.

If so then most likely it will be out next week.

I agree! As much as I love Cass and what she has been doing to bring justice for her sister, she needs to understand that sometimes you need to be quiet.
