My shift key is not working. when i want to capitalize a letter, it won't type if i try to make it a capital. it also will not work if i try to type an upper case symbol. like a question mark. Do you all think this is a bad key or something else. seems like if it were the key it would still type the letter just not make it upper case. but it does not type anything.

Hmmm, sounds pretty shifty to me.

OK, in all seriousness. Last time a key stopped working on me, I was able to pop it off. A little rubber piece had worn off. To fix it temporarily I wadded up some paper and put it in the same place. It worked, but that paper didn't provide that little 'bounce' that the other keys did when pressed. Sorry I can't be of more help!!

Have you tried both shift keys? The same thing happens with both? And you tried the basics (Unplugging and plugging it back in? Restarting your pc?)
Go to website of the company that made the keyboard. There should be a troubleshooting list.
Time for a new keyboard...................
