We know the neighbors have been coming forward with information in various interviews with the media. Who are they? What connections do they have to the Laurean family? What did they see and when did they actually see it? Have they reported everything to LE?

Interesting note: I just watched this again and Richard Alander states the argument was on the 10th outside between the couple, but his wife saw Cesar the next morning at 6:30 am getting ready to leave.

Richard Alander, a neighbor, said he and his wife discussed additional recollections about the Laureans with investigators on Sunday.

Earlier this week, the Alanders said Cesar Laurean had borrowed a shovel two or three weeks ago. They said Laurean used to tie his small, poodle-like dog to a tree in the backyard but in recent weeks had started tying the dog to a stake in the front yard.

Several of Laurean's neighbors are telling media outlets, including The Daily News, that the Laureans hosted a bonfire party on Dec. 24, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

"A lot of comments are being made by neighbors and a lot of people are commenting on what they say the neighbors said, but we would not reveal anything that we have uncovered during our investigation about that until the appropriate time, if there is one," Sutherland said Friday.

A neighbor, Wanda Alander, said she visited the Laureans in their home before Christmas and noticed that the living room had been recently painted. "She told me that they planned to paint the garage next," Alander said.

Neighbor Wanda Alander said she noticed paint cans stacked on the porch of the Laurean home before Christmas.

"When I went over there, the living room was already painted. (Christina Laurean) mentioned that they were going to do some more stuff, like paint the bedrooms and the garage," Alander said.

Alander also said she saw the couple burning something behind the house around the same time, while her husband claimed he saw Cesar Laurean driving Lauterbach's car.

We have no idea when he bought his truck or does it really matter :)

Has anyone seen any blogs anywhere from the neighbors??? They have been pretty silent recently. Is that because they have told everything they know or have been told to keep silent??

All photos of Christina have been removed from the Internet. I think all video of the sherriff have been removed from the Internet. Only articles- no video of him anymore even places where it used to appear. Facebook blogs of camp L people have stopped or slowed to nothing and some members have dropped out/removed themselves. I've never found a neighbors blog but they may be whitnesses and being asked not to talk or may have been called in the Grand Jury hearing. No photos of Christina were ever found except those that were blurred out. Sheriff Brown's videos are still available in many places.

CD, these posts you are speaking of are from "LeJeune Underground." I've read them, too, and your characterization of them is misleading, IMO. It's not a military site. It's a site that military members and spouses have created to chat about what's going on in the LeJeune community -- not necessarily on the base.

First of all, of course it's a violation to post military operations -- that's what spies do.

Secondly, the accounts they were talking about were the Laureans' accounts on the LeJeune Yard Sale page. That account was removed from the Yard Sale data base because Christina had offered some suspicious things for sale, and her phone # and email were on it, and people were trying to call and email her to threaten her. Her ad was reported to the police.

And, yes, the base commander sent out an order not to harass the protesters. She didn't want a violent confrontation with them. Most members of LeJeune Underground are civilian spouses, though, and do not have to obey the base commander. (By the way, the protesters were coming to say they were GLAD Maria had been murdered.)

Far from the site becoming quiet, it is and has been very active. Lots of interesting info on that site.
