48-year-old East Naples man who requires prescription medication has not been seen by family since Monday morning, and authorities are asking for the public's help in locating him.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office reported that William Trettis, of 254 Griffin Road, was last spotted Tuesday afternoon riding his bicycle westbound on U.S. 41 near the Rattlesnake Hammock Road intersection.

The family said Trettis frequently rides his maroon or purple single-speed Huffy Land Cruiser from East Naples to the Barnes and Noble bookstore at Waterside Shops in North Naples.

Trettis' family is concerned about him because they do not believe he has had access to his medication. The family did not reveal what kind of medication Trettis requires.

When he was last seen, Trettis was wearing a white shirt, khaki shorts and a light-colored baseball cap. He weighs about 250 pounds, stands 5-feet, 11-inches tall and has brown hair.

Anyone with information on Trettis' whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (239) 793-9300.
