Police are seeking a 17-year-old township girl who is believed to have run away. Danielle M. Armfield, who lives on Sprucewood Court, has been missing since Jan. 8. The girl’s grandmother, who has custody of her, returned from an out-of-town trip to find her missing, police report. She is a junior at Fitch High School. She is 5 feet tall, weighs 120 pounds and has red hair. Anyone with information on her whereabouts can call Detective Sgt. Ray Holmes at the police department at (330) 270-5109.

I wonder if she is still missing? Has anyone checked NCMEC?
ETA: I just searched NCMEC for her and couldn't find her. I wonder if that is because she would be about 19 now? Other girls that were 17 and went missing in 2008 are still listed. Hmmm......

Danielle Armfield was discovered missing Jan. 8. She lives with her grandmother, Diane Vantassel.
Vantassel told police she was out of town from Jan. 6-8, but spoke to her granddaughter several times on the home phone line, she told police. When Vantassel returned home at 1 p.m. Jan. 8, police said Armfield was missing, but the washing machine was running.
Police Reports-Oct. 28
Mary McGuire, 42, and Brandon McGuire, 24, both of Lytle Street, Pittsburgh, were cited with harassment after a fight Sunday in the parking lot of the Holiday Inn in Big Beaver, state police reported.
State police said that the McGuires were involved in a physical altercation with Danielle Armfield, 18, of Ridge Road, Vienna, Ohio, around 6:30 p.m. in the motel parking lot, and that the McGuires grabbed Armfield by the arms.
Diane Vantassel, 60, also of Ridge Road, Vienna, went to Armfield's aid, and Brandon McGuire pushed Vantassel, according to police.
