Moore County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a 47-year-old woman who disappeared earlier this month.
Dakota Smitherman Blue, of the 9800 block of N.C. 705 in Eagle Springs, was last seen Feb. 1 at her home in Lee’s Mobile Home Park, said Chief Deputy Neil Godfrey.
“We have searched the area around her house looking for her and looking for any indication of foul play, but we haven’t found any as of yet,” he said.
Blue was reported missing on Sunday by her son, who lived with her, Godfrey said.
She is described as being 5 feet tall and 150 pounds.
Anyone with information about Blue’s whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at (910) 947-2931.
