Authorities Wednesday asked for the public's help in finding an 86-year-old Whittier man who was last seen at a Costco in Norwalk.
James Allan Winger was last seen about 3 p.m. Tuesday at the store on Hoxie Avenue, Detective Diane Harris of the sheriff's Missing Persons Detail said.
Winger is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 154 pounds and has short gray hair and hazel eyes. He is missing the tip of one of his index fingers. He may be driving a gray, 2001 Toyota Camry, with license number 4PZZ958.
"His family is very concerned," Harris said.
Winger has recently shown periods of forgetfulness, and suffers from diabetes and heart problems, Harris said.
He frequents the Spires and Norms restaurants in Whittier, she said.
