SANFORD - A 20-year-old man is in the Seminole County Jail, charged with using the Internet to stalk his former girlfriend.

Two weeks ago, that girlfriend, 19, contacted the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, saying someone was sending her threatening messages through her MySpace account.

In one message, the writer said if she continued to see her new boyfriend, "that would be the end of you. That's not a threat, it's a promise," according to the report.

Shortly after that threat, the woman's new boyfriend, David Lundquist, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the sheriff's office.

Hutchinson told deputies he was only trying to scare the woman.

It honestly does sound separate. The new boyfriend sounds like he had some really creepy issues as well. However, he did not leave a note.

Don't you think that he must have had other problems if he couldn't deal with threats like this from an old ex? I mean, maybe he was insecure or something already, OR we just don't know the whole story of what this ex bf was doing with the new couple.

Either way, it's sad that he shot himself. I would just think in a "typical" guy, suicide wouldn't necessarily be the answer. But who am I to say that, right?! lol

I'm really confused...

If the new boyfriend, David Lundquist killed himself in the first article, how did he, Nathaniel David Lundquist get arrested for attempted murder? The second article says nothing of this guy killing himself...

OK ... Nathaniel "David" Lundquist was her NEW boyfriend. He had been PREVIOUSLY arrested and was facing charges for attempted murder of a male lover who he tried to run over with heavy construction equipment. Meanwhile, her previous boyfriend was on a campaign of stalking and harassment which he has now been arrested for.

Yep, this story belonged in the bizarre section. :bang:

Okay i'm getting confused here lol.. if the exboyfriend Lundquist was arrested in 2007 for attempted murder and then shot himself in 2008, did he make bail or were the attempted murder charges dropped? Maybe he killed himself since he didn't want to go to prison?
Now this Hutchinson exboyfriend sounds like an obsessed psycho; the type that can't accept that his ex is not with him so instead of blaming himself or her for whatever went wrong he blames her "new boyfriend". Projection?.. i think thats the term, someone correct me if i'm wrong..

Sounds like he was telling her that she had better stop seeing her new boyfriend or else. Then the new boyfriend kills himself. I wish we knew what became of the attempted murder charge from June. Was he out on bail and waiting to go to trial or what. Sounds like this guy was bi-sexual. I wonder if the old boyfriend knew about the new boyfriend's arrest? Did she know?

Maybe this girl should just put men on the back burner for awhile because she seems to pick the losers. Glad that she called LE though before something bad happened to her. Good thinking.

I've been looking everywhere for the article that tipped me that David had "issues" and can't find it ... working from memory, I think that he was out on bond and waiting trial.

He had faced attempted murder charges in Osceola County. Deputies said he met another man at a bar last summer and had sex with him. Lundquist later allegedly hit and tried to kill the man with construction machinery.

"We don't know right now if there's any direct connection," Lemma said.

When police questioned Hutchinson at his home, investigators said he admitted to cyberstalking his ex-girlfriend.

Hutchinson is charged with aggravated stalking, but police said he's not a suspect in the boyfriend's death.

Lundquist was charged with attempted murder in 2007 for trying to run over a man, police said.

She sounds like a real winner too. Granted, I had some loser boyfriends but I can honestly say they never tried to kill someone with construction equipment.
I love my myspace but if some freak was bothering me I would block them or delete my account. Seriously, it is very easy to do. Also, just unplug the computer for awhile.
Now, if he did this craziness in person, I have a gun (along with permit!) and he wouldn't get a second chance at hurting me.

Unfortunately, he was also passin' along some very "personal" photos as well. That's hard to combat. However, if you don't allow boyfriends to take the photos in the first place . . . you don't have to worry about them being spread throughout the web.
