Newark Police said Monday they believe that the rape of a University of Delaware student in the early morning hours Saturday (http://www.udel.edu/PR/UDaily/2007/oct/rape102806.html) may have been committed by the same man involved in two earlier incidents, one a rape and another a home invasion.
In all three incidents, the suspect has been described as about 19-22 years old and about 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall with a medium build. He has short brown or light brown hair, which may be in a buzz cut style.

Since searching for links to Bri's case, I have read about alot of rapes, and it's astonishing to me, that a large amount of them, the victims left their doors unlocked. Maybe it's cuz I'm a city girl, but I would NEVER do that.

The attempted sexual assault of an Arizona State University student over the weekend may be linked to a Feb. 7 attack, police said Monday.

It is the third attack on a female ASU student in more than a month.

According to Tempe police, the 19-year-old victim woke about 3 a.m. Saturday to find a man on top of her. The victim pushed off her attacker and fled the apartment in the 1100 block of East Apache Boulevard. The man was gone by the time police arrived. There was no description of the attacker available, and the apartment showed no sign of forced entry.

A 20-year-old was sexually assaulted Feb. 24 at the Gateway at Tempe apartments near ASU. On Feb. 7, a 19-year-old fought off an attacker who crawled in her open second-floor window in the same complex. The most recent attack was less than 2 miles from the site of the February attacks.

Sorry if this has already been posted, I googled NorCal Serial rapist after seeing him on another website. He's raped 9 women in Northern California area.

She told police a light-skinned, biracial man with reddish-brown hair and blue eyes took her to an unknown location in a dark-colored, extended cab pickup truck.

Afterwards, the suspect dropped her off at the same place where he abducted her, police said.

Thanks for posting that INH. I was wondering if that was related also. It does seem unlikely due to the distance. But IMO it also seems unlikely to me that the perp has not struck again by now. So I do think it's worth checking into.

Thanks...I think that Reno PD and the FBI should know about websleuths site, and specifically this particular thread. With so many people who care about this case, perhaps we will list something in our diligence that the police will have more info on than we do, and be able to match something.

I believe I have posted this one before, but looking at it again today, I feel very strongly that this could be our perp. I think he may have done this crime maybe after he did not have success assaulting the UNR victim in the garage on Nov. 13.

On November 13, 2007 officers responded to the Town and Country Shopping Mall on a report of a strong-armed robbery of a female victim. The suspect approached the victim and punched her in the stomach, forcing her to open her vehicle. The suspect ordered the victim to drive him to the opposite end of the parking lot where he demanded money. The victim attempted to use her cell phone to call police, but the suspect took the phone and disabled it. The suspect fled on foot heading eastbound on Vassar St. The suspect is described as a white male adult, approximately 35 to 37 years old, 5’10” to 6’ tall, 160 pounds, clean-shaven, wearing a grey baseball cap, black sweatshirt, and blue jeans. The suspect matched the description of a local patron who frequents the area.

Other posters have brought up several assaults/attempted assaults at Arizona State U. in the last few months. The latest attempt produced no suspect description or sketch.

However, I found on the college's site this crime alert from Feb. 27, which I thought was interesting. It won't let me copy and paste, so check the link, but the suspect desciption is a white male of average build between the ages of 30 and 40 who drives a dark gray pickup truck:

That's a great find Jesikah. I think I read that they have a POI in this, but there has also been a string of attacks or attempted attacks at the U of Arizona. Looks like Arizona and Nevada both have several serial attackers. :mad:

i just seen last night on fox news that they now beleive that bre's case is connected to the too other students in the area that were stabbed to death what i dont get is if thats the case and there is a seriel killer out there was it someone different that raped or did whatever to the too that he let go maybe thats a totally different guy if that was a seriel killer like they said they think bre's case is linked too why would he not kill them other too exspescially the one that he new had seen what he was driving and some of the interior..so maybe there is too different guys here...just a thought .
