This guy sounds like a real peach. Glad he's not my boss.

Two women fired after they accused their male boss of spying on them using cameras hidden in a bathroom ceiling are now suing that man, the owner of a Pompano Beach auto accessories store, according to Broward County court records.
.....
Krumholz complained of chest pains when officers told him he'd be arrested on a charge of tampering with evidence. He also fired Wong on the spot, saying his employee needed to be deported.

The incident was not the first time Krumholz was caught with a camera. He was accused of doing the same thing 15 years ago in New York.

He stated he installed camera in order to keep his office safe he suspected drug use among employees. Sorry, I'm not buying his story, how come he didn't install another camera in the men's restroom? I think he's a pervert!

I think that he's just misunderstood.
I hate to jump on a first time poster, before giving them a big welcome to WEBSLEUTHS wave.
But, did you even read the article? At first he claimed he had no knowledge of the camera, then inexplicably ran around and started yanking wires and refusing a search of his office. LE did NOT find any drug footage ... which he claimed only AFTER spending some time trying to think up an excuse for having a camera in the restroom. What they did find was photos and video of the female workers in various stages of undress.
Claiming he's misunderstood is like saying the picnic table guy mistook the table for his wife.

I will never understand the appeal of "Potty Cams". That's just so gross. I will never understand picnic table love either for that matter.
Welcome to WS Cowpie! In what way do you think this guy was misunderstood?

I read the article. I have also looked at "Potty Cam" postings in Usenet groups. Unless there is a camera in the toilet bowl, all you really see are panties around ankles. A real thrill, huh?
I find stuff like this to be pathetic. There should be a separate "Potty Cam Restroom" for those who like to watch and those who don't mind being watched. And our hero must be compelled to watch all who enter.
As for the misunderstood part, let's just say he's more to be pitied than reviled. The obsession that we Americans have with anything concerning what goes on "down there" creates a lot of weird behavior.

LOL, good answer cowpiewi!
I can't say I agree he's been misunderstood though ... I think he's a tinkle freak.

Besides, I don't know what he hoped to see, or why. I've always been under the impression that the only reason women go into the bathroom is to change the potpourri.

and to put the toilet paper on the holder when it runs out.
