A Snohomish County jury was scheduled this morning to begin a second day of deliberations in the case of an Everett man accused of ordering the 2002 abduction and murder of Rachel Burkheimer.

Jurors deliberated until about 3:30 p.m. Thursday and recessed without announcing a verdict in the trial of Yusef "Kevin" Jihad, 34. They agreed to resume work this morning.
