View Full Version : 'Cannibal relatives ate boy alive'
A seven-year-old boy was kept chained in a closet as relatives hacked off pieces of his flesh to eat, a court has heard.
In a case with echoes of the Fritzl family horror in Austria, Ondrej Mauerova was partially skinned in the closet in a cellar at his home in Kurim near Brno, in the Czech Republic, according to reports.
The abuse – involving members of a religious cult – was uncovered by chance last May when a neighbour's television baby monitor picked up graphic pictures of what was happening next door.
Ondrej and his nine-year-old brother Jakub were locked and chained in the cellar for months by their mother Klara, 31 – a member of a group called the Grail Movement.

OMGosh! :eek: How horrendous!!! Thank heavens the neighbor got that baby monitor and "accidentally" saw what was happening. I can't begin to imagine the horror those two boys faced, their fear and pain. Prayers for them to heal and find love and happiness in their lives.

I just read about this on FOX.
No matter how many times I've read about parents doing horrible things to their children, it's just not something I could ever get used to or wrap my mind around
I would give my life for my children and take the life of anyone who tried to hurt them.
Poor little guys....I hope they can go on to live some kind of happy life.
That neighbor must have been horrified.

This one finally got me to make a post, I've been a reader for years now. I can't believe this stuff is going on, didn't anyone notice these kids had disappeared? Everytime I think I've heard it all, or I can finally wrap my head around one abuse case, a new one comes up and punches me in the stomach all over again. Where do the parents get these crazy torture methods, do they just sit back and think about the worst way possible to hurt their children- just this week alone we had kids tied to trees, broken teeth with nerves exposed, babies pummeled to death on the side of the road, and now this, creepy cannibals! I am just sick for these children.

How crazy is it that the 35 yearold(?) was mistaken for a 13 yearold and she then ran away.

I'm with all of you, this has to be THE worst story I've read on WS. :( I feel in shock a little.
Every day there is something even more sadistic and horrendous coming to light. What is going on?
Prayers for these boys. I wish them well, but I'm not very optimistic that they could recover emotionally from something like this. :(

You know, I've been thinking the same thing!
I'm of Austrian heritage (among other things) and I can tell you with 100% certainty that MY FAMILY doesn't lock people up in basement dungeons and torture them. :eek: Maybe there's something in the water over there that just makes people go NUTS! :mad:

at my house we have an ongoing discussion about good & evil. i try to stay on the side of everyone being born good. he cites chapter & verse about satin & evil forces at work in our world..... this may have convinced me he is right.
as for divine intervention, yes for this horror to be discovered & stopped. but it's hard to reason how such a thing could have happened.

This story is horrendous! I can't even begin to imagine what these children have been through. To be honest, I couldn't even bring myself to read the link (except for the wiki ones) and I have read some crazy horrible stuff over the years written by pedomonsters and the likes.
The saddest thing in all this, these child are most definitely NOT the only children going through this. I figure for ever ONE we hear about there are probably NINE others that we will NEVER hear about. It's staggering what people will do to children, even ones who are their own flesh and blood.
I am not a violent person normally, but I sure could come up with some fitting punishments for these freaks.

I don't know the answer to any of your questions, Floh ... there certainly has been a level of depravity and there was always an observation that news is traveling faster and farther abroad with the advent of www. I don't know that I buy that explanation any longer ...
