"Get into my car or I'll hurt you" is what 55 year old Michael Riffel said to an 11 year old girl in Ohio. That's frightening enough but worse is this guy is a registered sex offender and he's a Level III.
Riffel served 20 years in prison after violating his parole on a rape conviction. The rape occured in 1980, and in 1983 he was convicted of another crime being Gross Sexual Imposition. Now he's alleged to be threatening little girls.:furious:

Here's another one!!!!!!! What the heck!
We need to create an island for these guys that they can never leave. They can all live together and rot, well away from the rest of us and especially well away from the children of the world!

after 20+ years in prison, riffel has learned nothing & is up to his old tricks because incarceration does not cure child molesters. duh!
"Riffel was released from prison in August 2006 after serving more than 20 years for violating parole on a rape conviction, according to the Ohio Department of Corrections. Riffel was convicted of raping a female victim in 1980, then violated conditions of his parole in 1983 by committing gross sexual imposition, according to ODC records."
& he can bond out of jail now for $1500... even after approaching children & not reporting his address as required by the state. what the H-E-double hockey sticks is wrong with ohio law?????
this guy is 55. how many victims have not reported him? how many in the just the 10 months he has been out of jail? he has another 40-50 years of lifetime. how many more will fall victim"
DEMAND STRICTER LAWS FOR PUNISHMENT!

As Ive said forever.
Make the State civily liable for every sex offender they CHOOSE to return to our streets .
If they are so confident of the staff that makes these calls then they shouldnt have a thing to worry about.
If THEY wont take that risk why in the Hell should they expect US and our CHILDREN to????? :furious::furious::furious::furious:

I agree with you 100% - it is absolutely ludicrous that this POS is out, under any circumstances !! When will they learn that sex offenders are not rehabilitated in prison? :banghead::banghead::banghead:

KLINE! That is genius!
That is exactly what should happen, in fact I am going to drop this little hint at the place I volunteer at. I think this is exactly what should happen!
I never once thought of it!
Oh, but beware KLINE, some of our fellow posters support child molesters and their RIGHT to live free and roam near children once they have paid their debt to society.
They will call you a hater! LOL.

kline; put that on a referendum ballot & you have my vote.
unfortunatly, i cannot see that happening. do you know any such proposals? need an experienced campaign manager?
could someone explain to me why violent offenders & deviants get early release while income tax cheaters & dope smokers are taking up space in prisons & institutions? i am not approving of those offenses, but couldn't we sleep better if the really bad guys were locked away? how have we come to have law-abiding, working, taxpayers' liberties take a back seat to thugs & perverts? do recidivism rates mean nothing?
i know it's all about money, overcrowding, yadayadayada. my us representative & a couple state reps are personal friends & they know how i feel about appropriations. those in my delegation whom i have not met, probably know my name.... tools we all have make it so easy to contact elected officials. it takes less than 5 minutes to set up email & fax to them.
