I hope your friend will be ok,TG. Just say a prayer.
My mom and son live in Houston (Harris county). They are going to "hunker" down, also. I just hope they made the right decision.
Thanks for writing back :blowkiss:.

HI Frog!
I am going to PM you w/ a quick question.
Just talked to our neighbor. We lost another tree in our backyard due to the storm last night. I am in Branson and called for a quick update on whether we had any damage. When my neighbor answered, the first thing he said was, Good Morning, need to borrow my chain saw? I knew things were not going to be good...... lol

In reference to Trino's post on the Rumor's 2 thread, (posting this here so I am not off topic and corrected for being on the wrong thread. I guess I dont know my way around, it seems I always break the rules so, I am sorry to anyone who is offended by my mistakes. I will add all my postings on this thread unless it is a FACTUAL posting related to the topic of the thread) I dont understand the reasoning of the most recent posting by Trino on Rumors2. Please understand I am not trying to sound rude, I'm just confused. The event with the handcuffs and the GJ happened weeks ago. Was there something in this posting that I missed? I would like to be helpful if I am able to.

Frog, I just replied to Trino.
Don't worry about posting on the wrong thread or any mistakes - I certainly don't care - what's important is getting opinions and sharing information about this case with eachother. And you contribute to that. That's all that matters. :)
I usually just post on General Discussion as the name seems to imply discussing anything pertaining to the case, whether it be fact, opinion, rumor, etc.

However, in several cases, the inmates were such hard drug users they couldn't find a good vein. One guy even told the attendant...gimmme that needle I can find a vein.

I received a call from a very dear friend in OKC, a few minutes ago. She is very scared. She is in her early 30's and has health issues with heart valves, but now, they have found some kind of a cyst, in her sinus cavity, behind her eye. They are running tests and VERY concerned. This doesnt seem to be something medicine is going to take care of. It will require removal, but is pretty much in an inoperatable location. We know that our Heavenly Father can do ANYTHING! So I signed on to ask whoever may be reading this, to please pray for Stephanie. She is soooooo scared! She is married to a wonderful man,and has a little boy about 10. She has no parents, so she kinda looks up to me as her elder person in her life, for advice. Please keep her in your prayers when she comes to mind.
I thought there was a prayer thread on WS main page, but I couldnt find it, so I hope no one minds that I posted this here. Bless you.

I can't remember but it's some lake on an old Indian Reservation in the east part of the state. I've been searching and searching for it on the internet.
It seems like one of the guys was named Chase or Jason but I'm not sure of that. I think there were 3 teens or young adults involved. It was about 3 or 4 years ago I believe.

Was the lake Tenkiller Lake? That is near Tahlequah, the Cherokee capitol, but I dont know about reservations Tenkiller is a very popular lake in the state. Very pretty with lots of bluffs and stuff.

The name was sent to me in a personal message. Thanks everyone. The kids name was Jarret Clark and he was killed around the time he graduated from high school by another boy who was jealous of the attention Jarret paid to his girlfriend. There were three other teenagers involved. The kid who did it died before it went to the Grand Jury.
It was at Fort Gibson Lake and, for some reason, that murder kept coming into my mind in realtion to this one. However, as it turns out, no connection at all. The only reason I thought it might have some bearing months ago when I researched it was because it happend on Indian property.

I am worried about our Country and what it stands for and I am worried about our families. I think if Obama get's IN, it will be the downfall of America. I pray that people wake up and SEE who he really is and what he stands for. It is definiately not for the NORMAL everyday citizens. He has an agenda. And I know his agenda does not fit into American society. What is it going to take for people to understand what he is all about? God Help Us!! Thanks for letting me get some of this off my chest. I agree with you TOTALLY, Gertie! GOD BLESS AMERICA! Isn't this what our country was founded on? I guess people dont remember their history lessons, but the settlers came to America to be able to worship God freely, and our Nation was founded on that very reason. Now, those freedoms have been practically taken away. But God told John in a dream that these things would happen.... and it seems they are.
Obami... whatever his name is, is NOT about anything America was founded on! I think people cant see the forest for the trees! I pray that anyone who listens to this man, will see past the promises he makes, and see what he really stands for and what he REALLY INTENDS to do to our nation.
As Mom used to tell me, these are things to come. BE READY! I just pray that they arent coming yet!
And as I am able to write this on this chitchat thread, I would like to add, this IS my opinion, to which I am entitled to.
God please bless our nation!
Amen

I have strong personal opinions about our current and future political situation; however, I am not willing to risk alienating my friends by posting those beliefs. There have been two many harsh remarks made, imo, on this forum and others.
Do any of you think you are changing anyone's opinion by posting these things? I don't - this is a free country and we are all entitled to our thoughts and we are entitled to openly express them; however, is it worth losing your friends?
I don't believe it is and that's why I will not talk politics on these sites. I value all of you too much and the quickest way to lose a good friend is to argue about politics or religion.
Anything further I have to say regarding politics will be in the voting booth.

I agree Boots ...Good post.
The reason I took up for Gerti is that sometimes you just need to vent or maybe it was layed on her heart to speak her mind. I think that is ok, just because I don't choose to speak my views out loud I would not want to step on Gerti or any other American that wants to state their view in a friendly manner. That is what upsets me more than anything when people lose their manners & really get upset. I am thankful to be born a woman in the United States of America where we do have these freedoms. I just think people need to play nice and for some reason Religon & Politics strike at the very nerve of most. I guess thats why my Daddy's advice makes since ..Never discuss Religon & Poltics with your friends ..LOL

Sheza. Thank you. Mark and I were roomates in college. We lived across the street from each other in 1972 by the Outlaw football field. We, ski'd Lake Eufala like we owned it. I saw Mark for the last time in February 2002 when Julie called me to say he was really bad, and if I ever wanted to se him again, I should come. Before that, in January, Mark and I went to see Lord of the Rings. Mark was avoraciuos reader, and loved Tolkein. When mom was dying of cancer, my wife and I stayed with Mark. He had been having a lot of breathing problems, and finally he was diagnosed. As my wife and I passed Mark coming home from the hospital he had been in in Tulsa, as we we were goinf to see mom, he stopped us (August 2001). Garland and Ruthie were in the front seat, Mark in the back rolled down the window and told us he had lung cancer, but the doctor said "they" were gonna manage it. Well, you know the rest. He was my best friend, ever.

The psychological effects of methamphetamine include, euphoria, dysphoria, increased attention, increased alertness, excessive talking, rapid speech,
irritability, nervousness, anxiety, paranoia,
delusions of grandeur, panic, aggressive and sometimes violent behavior, severe depression, suicidal tendencies, hyperactivity and excitability, increased sense of well-being, and emotional lability.

I would like to ask a question and I hope this is the correct place to post it. I have read some opinions that the shooting indicated an 'overkill' and could mean a 'hit' on the girls. I've never thought that a hit was carried out by younger persons in this case. And, I do think the crimes were committed by younger persons. I don't think an adult would risk 13 shots in daylight that close to Taylor's home. As a teacher, I have always been interested in the 'mind' and how it works. I recently had a discussion with a child psychologist about increasing violence in young children. She suggested that a child's mind will justify an action (even if it's wrong) if that person has seen it over and over. Seeing something over and over will create a 'learning pathway' in a child's mind and they will do what they have learned. This is a major concern with such violent video games that are available to young children these days. I've seen some teenagers play these games for hours on end. They would certainly have to be effected by this in some way. Many things about the shootings are very similiar to what is seen in popular video games these days. Perhaps the shootings weren't a hit, but the product of teenagers acting out what they have learned?? I don't think this is the motive, I still think it has to do with the girls walking upon some type of drug involvement. But, perhaps an explaination of why teenagers would do an 'overkill' ??

Sheza, Mark Mason would do just about anything for a buck back in the 70's and 80's. This isn't meant to be deragatory; Mark's dad Roger was a hardcore alcoholic. Addiction to anything was possible, and happened to both Mark and his older brother Mike. Involvement with drugs and alcohol around Weleetka was out of controlin the 70's and 80's in our dear Weleetka.
And, No, my name is not Randy. The only Randy's I new were; Richardson, Dwiggins, and Wilcox.

Sheza. Was there a third "P"? Or, which were you in the same class as? If you figure me out, your powers of deduction are pretty doggone good. You were likely in the class of 76 or 77 (Fuzzhead, Riddle, Turbeville, Hull, etc). The WHS Class of 77 has an exclusive website. Thats who I polled a few months ago about any Talor and Skyla updates. You would have to ask Theresa Kern for access, as she's the administrator. Did you ever go to the pool hall when Vern Harrison ran it? It was great place to mess around at. You could hear the Eagles, and the Spinners to you hearts content.

W1~ You are correct in saying the families are economically challenged. I do not belive either child had insurance. Immediately after the girls were killed, an Uncle of Taylor was on the news asking for money to help with the cost of the funeral. I am not from Weleetka, but Oklahoma is my home. It is in my blood. I love the wind, the plains, the Sooners. When I am out of sorts, the first place I seek is Oklahoma. It calms my soul. I have been to Weleetka and have been to the Memorial. If you are interested in the "sleuthing" part of this tragedy, be sure and study up on the crime scene. It is interesting to see where the bodies were found in reference to the bridge, the home of Taylor etc..................

Houndacres: Meth heads (tweakers) also have a lot of "awake time". Dependent on how long and the dosage/purity of their meth, the extent of brain damage occuring, is also a factor here. Ruflosn presented some "lay" expalanation of what a tweaker may experience. However, the bio chemical and anatomical processess deterioration are also happening. I'm saying tweakers play a lot of video games, so what to say their pschoses isn't also acting like a kid in a n adultd body. Just a twist to your good possible scenario.

W1, this is what I see happening also. These young adults, hyped up on meth, playing violent video games for hours and hours, would create a pathway, a rut if you will, in their brain. This is what their actions would imitate when given a situation to react to.

I still see this as a revenge killing for something one of the girls did or knew that they had threatened to divulge.

I still see it as a revenge or payback killing, too, YellowDog. However, it is very likely they were hopped up on meth, as well. I often think it was payback to one of the families rather than just to the girls. The worst thing you can do to someone is kill their children!

ClayCay and Houndacres: I think you two both have a good slant to consider. If I had the time I would put everthing we know or speculate into a spreadsheet, and see where the line is straightest. We could likely see some good possibiluities. Notice I didn't say we could see some likely possibilities. If we see what we think we have, then maybe we could see what the missing questions are, so we could fill things in a better.
ClayCat: Didn't the early witness reports say the POI was spotted with a Chevy truck?

W1~
The spread sheet idea is a great one. The truck has never, to the best of my knowledge, been identified as definite Chevy or Ford. I have heard both referenced. The tailgate was down and that is one reason that there was confusion about the make of the vehicle. (At least that is what was explained to me by a local). The most notable thing to me is that the truck was white, and clean. Meaning, it did not appear to have been drivin down dusty, Oklahoma roads. So, where did the truck come from.............

Ruflossn: I had to check. I checked KOTV and got the following extract.
OSBI says the man is part Native American. He's about 35 years old and 6 feet tall with mid-length hair. They say he was in a white Chevy or Ford single cab pickup with a narrow chrome strip down the side with Oklahoma plates.
I mean even a year range would help. You would think the OSBI would have run a description through the DMV for all OK registered vehicles fitting. I believe there is more description on the vehicle available, just not to us. Just the witnesses, the POI, and possibly the OSBI.
Claycat

According to what I have heard, the man was actually more like 25. I don't believe the final drawing had been shown to witnesses to see if it was accurate or not.

I have a feeling the POI is not the person who committed these horrible crimes. I have also felt it was payback, but not to the P's. I still lean heavily to the girls having trouble with someone and this was their payback from young persons involved. They were hyped up on drugs and the shootings came easy to them. They are not wracked with guilt. I think the girls knew them and walked upon them. There was a reason the other persons were at the bridge, drugs perhaps? The POI may have been involved with the drugs and knows who these persons are. Perhaps that's why he has just disappeared? out of safety for himself?

True! I'm sure he was part of the crime. It's just that the drawing of the POI and the real POI don't match, in my opinion.

I'm not 100% convinced he was directly involved, but I believe he knows something. I have heard about some discrepancies between the sketch and the real POI, but without seeing him myself, I can't say for sure.

ClayCat,
If he was there to deal drugs, I would think he lives locally. From what I've read of your visit to the bridge, and the pictures I've seen, this is not a place that just anyone could find. Since he had a 'meeting' there, he would have to be familiar with the area. So, now the killer(s) know that someone can identify them. If he wasn't part of the shootings, I think he's gone, he running, and not from the police. The police are probably the least of his worries right now.
But what really amazes me, is that someone else knows this guy in the truck. There are others who might have had dealings with him, are his neighbors, work with him?? Seems to me that somebody knows more than has been told. Someone can identify the POI. Perhaps he's not a suspect, but LE just wants to interview him. I would hope that someone would call LE and give them this info, even if they don't reveal their identity.

Yes, they are definitely local, Houndacres. We certainly believe that!
I think there are people that do know and are afraid or have some kind of skewed sense of loyalty. There is one person who is feeling pretty awful at this point. (Check the psychic thread. I picked up on someone and felt my life was over. Fortunately, one of our group called me and saved me.) I don't know that he is feeling remorse. It's more like he realizes he has ruined his life and his future.

ClayCat: The "skewed sense of loyalty" is the sociological mores of the drug sub culture that was very present when I lived in Oklahoma, and in Weleetka. This also relates directly to the subcultures preoccupance with drug seeking; and absolute protection of the drug source.

When you people who live in Oklahoma go outside do you see a lot of eggs, because Oklahoma State layed quite a few.
Missouri made Northwestern look like USC. I wonder who the imposter was who was playing QB for Missouri.
So far Kansas is the only Big 12 team who hasn't acted like half of their blood has been drained out. We shall see what today brings.

"Something" made the killer/s use the county line road that day, there is some reason. If LE could compile a list of 50 people who travel that road the most,I bet at least one of the killers names would be on the list. Also,I wonder if one of the killers had something wrong with them, like overweight, mentally behind, speech empediment, bad acne, etc., that made them feel awkward socializing with others as a group.May have had girl problems/mother issues.Probably never took part in school sports or other social activities.Learning disability, maybe.Has never been popular with peers.Hobbies might include hunting and fishing.A loner for the most part, perhaps.JUst a fews possibilities I thought about.Anyone here interested in behavioral science?

k4kathy, look at my drug sub culture reply above. A look at sociological aspects should also be considered; given the volume of people in OK who are in a drug sub culture and don't realize it. I mean as an extention to say having a family member who is a tweaker, the innocent family member may be killed (as happens often enough here in Tucson) if the tweaker defaults on a payment to their "dealer".

http://www.newsok.com/clues-sought-in-slaying-of-girls-in-weleetka/article/3255420
Investigators spent most of the evening Sunday looking for clues in the area where the girls were found. Tire tracks preserved before heavy rains hit the area late Sunday show that a vehicle traveled down the road, then turned around near the ditch where the girls were found.
"We're not sure whether it was somebody passing by," Ross said. "It's an active area for people to throw from the bridge, shoot from the bridge."
Ross said the road, while remote, the road gets a fair amount of local traffic. The investigation so far has been focused on people who may live in the area or be familiar with the country roads.
"It's not likely someone pulled of the interstate or the highway and just stopped there," Ross said. "It's possible they went to meet somebody, or interrupted something or maybe it was a personal attack."

I wish, one of you would read all the charges against him in Okfuskee County...they range ..assault with a deadly weapon, to pointing a gun with intent ...to assault and batteries, restraining orders..you name it!!

MS, I noticed in your link it is Jerry D. P.. That was the name listed for his payment to the court for the Restraining Order. Is his place on the Okmulgee County side of the road, or Okfuskee? I haven't lived in Weleetka since the early 80's. When Dad passed away, mom remarried, and I really have been there bu about once year since. This P character must have been doing his misdeeds after that time, because I would have at least known of him, and avoided him. There is a Jerry D. P. on the ODOC Offender Lookup, but he's listed in Tulsa County. He was born in 1945. Is he that old? There is picture of that Jerry D. P.

Hello Weleetka1,
P's old home place is on the west side, both of his parents are deceased and he lives there alone. His sister Carolyn B. built a home on the family acreage, but needless to say, she was forced to vacate and move. You can see she has a permanent restraining order against JP.
I'd guess his shack would be about 1/4 mile S...SW...of the Plackers.
Again, he has ...and still is the only suspect that jumped out at me.
Back in the early 80s he was institutionalized...(attempted suicide)..at Carl Alberts mental hospital in McAlaster...while there he met a young lady ..with issues of her own...the two married...unfortuately they had 2 little girls. His mother finally couldn't stand the abuse anylonger...she called DHS and the girls were taken..the mother attended classes the DHS offered...and the girls were placed back into the home.
Later...because of sexual abuse ... the two girls were taken...and this time adopted out.
Sometime in the early 90s...Pamela P choked to death in the wee morning hours...while eating a WEINER.!!
Jerry P. is wicked.

MS, Jerry P. is a very dangerous man. I noticed some of his cases were dismissed, one was found "not guilty" by a jury, and some don't even show a record for him.
I read somewhere, that OSBI has checked him out. Maybe LE is just waiting for him to screw up, again.

Howdy MS. I wonder if JP is an undiagnosed schitzophrenic? I remember once in Ada we were having Fuzzheads B-day around Deer Creek. We had some "party goods" besides beer, more like the fungal type (possibly). One of our "friends, a male about 23, and a gun nut, dissappeared. He had had some of the party goods. As we're wondering where this person is at, a gunshot (rifle) went between our group. Then we heard him yell from the tree line some kinda odd request, and then if we didn't honor it, the next round would find one of us. We unassed the place! I called his friend Connie, and she told us he was actually a diagnosed schitzophrenic! Wow. He didn't bother to communicate that critical information to us.
