i will also tell you that the info i got without names is that AR was never close to her bio dad, hes been gone since she was around 2yrs old. and also everyone said her bio dad lived in the area, well the info i got a couple days ago when all the name stuff started was she was never close to bio dad and he lives in NC or somewhere near there and is remarried.

That would make sense actually. Most of the time in a small town with a family that is maybe short on funds , the community donates the place , the bulk of the flowers, etc... the funeral home usually makes the arrangements with the locals.Plus I'm sure that the family has received monetary donations also...

IIRC AR never said she had sex w/Gagnon...just that she was drugged last summer and had sex with 'Rauel', but that she didn't remember anything about him...there is speculation that that may have been when Gagnon (who admits to having sex with AR) had sex with her.

It has been stated that KG is in his late fifties [approximately 57]. My research shows that JSG was convicted in 1998 at the age of 38-39. This would make JSG 48-49 years old. If JSG is KG's nephew, then there is only an eight year difference between the two. Doesn't this seem strange (although it is not inconceivable)?

The reason I ask is because JSG's RSO could be a false lead -- although my research shows that JSG's last "listed address" was the street address for Delno and Margaret in Austin, a very well-t0-do neighborhood.

An 11-year-old boy abusing his younger sister was either emulating something that had been done to him or something that he had seen. I would almost bet that he was sexually abused as a child.

Some people thought she meant the pic of Cassandra hugging C after she read,.. but there is another one there of her hugging someone that i am sure is not Cassandra

If I could throw my 2 cents in for what it's worth. I peruse a lot of forums and I have to say that this particular forum is one of the best run and organized forums around. That being said, it also deals with subject matter that is not only quite emotional but tragic as well. I believe that the intergrity that the mods here have is just one reason for that. The other reason is the actual posters themselves. Now I know with posting, some us of can feel the tone and emotion behind the words, and sometimes we can't. It's very difficult without inflection or facial expressions. It can be very easy to feel insulted. I am assured that in this forum, the level of respect given to every poster, especially by the mods, is extremely high and not to be taken as anything less. Of course with heated conversations, we can tend to feel like it's directed at us but just remember we are all here for one reason and it's because we care. We can come here and share and that is a gift. Thanks for letting me say that.

Yes, there is the 12 year old sister of MJ telling on him that he was sexually abusing her...and it stopped for awhile.

Okay that is why he told the 18 year old he had slit the throat of the 12 year old Arizonia girl (which was never verified). Slitting the throat of someone is a personal crime, due how physically close you have to get to the vic and because it send s the message to "Shut Up".

Douglas' office has gotten 450 calls on the Bennett case, with many urging for tougher penalties for sex crimes.

He worked at Thermadyne's competitor before Thermadyne. This other company (I'm guessing) knew he was on probation, he was released from probation early so he could travel out of the country for his job. I don't know how his past was kept a secret, still scratching my head on this one, because if anyone in either of those companies caught wind of it, it would have spread like wild fire through all of the shops there in no time at all. That could very well be. I think that C should have been there. But I just can't get over Denise being there. I mean if that was my sister I would be so angry if she attended. Regardless if she didn't have anything to do with my daughters death. She knew abuse was going on,.. HOW COULD YOU NOT WITH ALL THOSE SIGNS! Everyone seems to be wondering why or how the media was at Brooker's funeral. Well, the funeral was in effect in a very public place, the high school field. It is a public high school and therefore I think the media would have had a right to be there..public property..vs if the funeral had been held in a private funeral home or church.

I think it was held where it was for 2 reasons:

Brooke was athletic and had been on school teams and so that place meant a lot to her...and they may not have had a church or funeral home large enough to accommodate 1000 mourners.

Exactly..if Savanna had been off work this whole thing would not fly. Also everyone seemed to be at work that day but MJ. I think that Brooke was probably expected back sometime that day into afternoon from the sleepover with her cousin. When that didn't happen her Mom was scared and started calling around. Later that evening , Good old MJ who had changed her MySpace at his computer, said look what I found ,I think she ran off this boy on MySpace. Which is when the LE were called and MJ starts hanging himself with all his tales about the hospital, finding her shoe, etc. Brooke's family, other then MJ and AR knew nothing about her going to visit a friend in the hospital..Mj made that up and related it as that evening unfolded. Then they thought she'd be home soon. But low and behold it got later then he comes forward with the Myspace story. And then he finds the shoe. What a tiwisted web he spun..but not so twisted that LE had him in their sights from the get go.

i find everything about the safe odd because i still reject the basic premise that someone got a phonecall that said "hey go get my safe and computer and throw them in the garbage" and that they then hung up the phone and did just that. it is beyond believable.

I think since he still owned the house and was renting a room from Kevin, he must've had a storage unit.

Also, all I ever read was that Kevin said he threw it in a dumpster and the FBI was unable to recover it. Maybe a tip came in as to which company had dumpsters in the area? On the video, it looked like Kevin lived in a residential neighborhood and as far as I know we don't have dumpsters. Only on construction sites or in a business locale.

I was wondering the same thing ever since the neighbor in Cullman said he saw RG enter the home with computer equipment. To me that is more then a laptop or removable hard drives. So he must have had equipment stashed somewhere else too, picked that up, and tried to hide it at the Cullman address...then went to the library to use their computers to fiddle with what MJ had started on emails , etc.

Do you think they thought by accessing computers in so many different locales they wouldn't get caught? I mean he even used the computer before he left Texas. It was wasn't a question of catching them, I think from day one the FBI knew MJ was the ring leader..just untangling this maze of computer and cell phone data to see who else was involved.

I think landfill managers are able to pretty much pinpoint where on a grid each garbage company/individual truck dumps refuse, so hopefully it won't take long for them to unearth this stuff.

I recall....in the Jessie Davis case (not sure if you are familiar with that one), we were all waiting the longest time for the COD to be announced.
During that case, we were told that it can quite often take a long time.

Good question..because why would he get rid of the hard drive if it had nothing on it to further place him in this crime. I think MJ's hard drive is buried or placed somewhere on all property his family owns. It looks like from the various pics that he and his family own alot of area up there.

I believe at the point he got rid of the hard drive would have been late the first night or early morning of the next day..about the time he was alerting RG to do the same. Yet, if this had all his porn on it..I don't think he would have put it somewhere it would have been destroyed..because he still thought they were ahead of the game and controlling the investigation..instead the investigation was controlling them.

Middle school and high school are in the same building complex but are separate. They are in middle school in 7th and 8th grade then on to 9th grade in the bigger building. They have their own staff/administrators but the two buildings and athletic field behind are generally just referred to as "the high school"

Yes, SailorMoon, I agree that it was probably best for C to go to the funeral, for that reason, too.

I was shocked to realise that C (not sure where AR is) could still be living in the house as if everything was normal, too!

I think that safe contains a lot of porn that goes beyond AR. I think they are taking their time in this because the circle keeps widening of who has been involved in this whole scheme. Obviously, Jacques murdered Brooke. I have no problem in saying that because that is where the facts point and my signature says JMHO...just my humble opinion.

But ..it was his fantasy..but he may have gained the ability to carry it out because maybe other child porn they watched, later ended in the child's death for trying to expose them. Meaning someone in Russia can't provide film or pics of child X any longer because they have been eliminated as a threat. They don't have a film of the elimination, just know it took place.

So this feeds into MJ's fantasy of killing a 12 year old girl that squealed on him..meaning replacing his sister with Brooke. I have no doubt that many of the missing children have been used in this way..child porn and then eliminated because they grew older and became too much of a risk factor for those involved.

I thought about the menstrual cycle too, AR could have easily found that info out from Brooke..and the fact that Brooke was turning 13 this weekend..so he knew time was of the essence if he was to do this while she was still 12 and not having her period at the time of the rape, torture and death. I don't want to be too graphic, but I think Brooke was a virgin and it was important to him that the blood on the hankie was from the deflowering of Brooke..not a menstrual cycle. Especially if he was capturing any of this on film..but more importantly he wanted this to be the rape of a virgin unequivocally.

I wonder what the undertones were like, between family members.
That...and the fact that there were members of LE so visible, must have created a weird vibe?!
I feel so bad for Brooke's dad everytime I see him. He looks *broken*! :(

Anyway, I am glad that the FBI has gotten a new tip about the safe! Perhaps another piece in this jigsaw puzzle is about to be revealed.

The Grand mom Lucinda was probably trying to draw her daughters together..instead of apart..to get to the root of the problem..their husbands. Poor choices in husbands yes..but the surviving children need to be whole and know that the family supports them..a hard job in each heart when you consider this. And she realizes this was not the time for family feuds if they were to heal and get to the bottom of who killed Brooke, abused the children and sold their souls.

The blame lies solely on the perps..everyone else they used to gain their goal. They women may have been stupid..but they didn't do this ..the perps chose them because they knew they could con them. Denise could have thought as long as he was watching he wouldn't be molesting. Some posters believe that not everyone that watches child porn is molesting children. I do not agree with the decsions that these women made. I am amazed in this day and age women would make those choices but women all over the world make these same choices everyday. The blame lies solely on the perps..everyone else they used to gain their goal. They women may have been stupid..but they didn't do this ..the perps chose them because they knew they could con them. When it comes to Cassandra she knew her sister was married to a RSO. She willingly let her daughter spend the night in the home where he lived. She had to of known Brooke never had her cell phone with her / red flags. I'd never let one of my kids or Grandkids consider such a thing. My daughter is so strict with her kids its unreal. She works for the BCA in the sex offender division. A young girl can be molested by an offender in a matter of minutes. Recently a little girl was at Wallmart & she was molested on a little Dora couch... guy never made it out of the store, yet it happened.

Denise was / is as ignorant as a person can be. She made the choice to marry a RSO bring him into her daughters & families lifes.The signs were there......finding a dildo / her daughter wrapped in a towel / KY jel isn't the norm for a 14 yr old to have just laying around the home. Yes the kids were made to suffer by the moms poor choices in men. Poor poor Brooke paid a very high price for Denise over looking the facts she seen with her own eyes. Will AR ever be the same again? MJ & RG are where they belong. They should never see the light of day as long as they live. They both seen the opportunity presented to them. MJ should 'never' of been allowed to walk the streets a free man. From MJ's emails under assumed names..to AR I think that he was afriad the con was up. He knew she had seen the porn and their must have been arguing in the home after that, he refers to "You know your Dad can't stand the fighting". I think she knew what was going on, didn't want to face it but was on the verge of leaving him due to all of this. He wanted to make it seem like it had something to do with AR's father ( the flirting notations), BUT IT REALLY HAD TO DO WITH HIM.

I think she was putting herself and her daughter in counseling to get to the root of this..MJ seemed very afraid of the counseling aspect. He knew it was about to blow wide open if AR didn't keep quiet..thus his reason for some of the emails to her about her Mom.

I think that this whole thing speeded up once he knew she was having second thoughts..he knew she had found too much on him at that point.

And lastly..he should have never been released from his parole..that wasn't Denise's fault..that was the State who did that...they even said he was fine to be a normal citizen again.

I really believe Denise was not at that hearing to support him..I think she just needed hear that he was not going to be granted bail. If I were in her shoes that is something I would want to know..I wouldn't want that perp coming home that night..I don't think she did either. I think she was there so if there was any question of releasing him on bail she
