The locations of the cell phone pings is what makes it so bizzare.

She left Surrey, which is essentially on the southwest coast of the Province, headed to Oliver, which is near the center of B.C., near the Washington State border.

Lillooet is far north of Oliver, around 300 miles. Cranbrook is on the east side of B.C., almost near Alberta. All of those points are 300+ miles away from each other.
