I hope this is a brand new thread and I'm not being redundant, but has anyone seen this story on Nancy Grace? The whole scenario reminds me of the Trenton Duckett story except the mother is alive in this case. The 22 year old mother has repeatedly lied to police and finally now the grandmother is taking off her blinders and admitting her daughter may have done something to her 2 year old grand daughter. Sorry, I was unable to get a photo posted here.

ORLANDO, Fla. - The grandmother of a missing 2-year-old central Florida girl said Monday her daughter knows who has the toddler.

Speaking on NBC's ``Today Show'', Cindy Anthony said her daughter Casey - who was arrested last week and charged with child neglect and criminal obstruction for lying to detectives - should be released from jail so she can help with the investigation into the disappearance of Caylee Marie Anthony.

I posted the two above news links to show just how much full of it this chick is.

She knows where Caylee is, let her out of jail.

She doesn't know where Caylee is, let her out of jail.

I so hope the pros office takes copies of these two articles to court for her bail hearing. The judge will see, it's not to find Caylee, it's to get this poor excuse of a mother out of jail.

I'm disgusted by these people and I want to know what she did with Caylee!

I hate liars and I'm usually not very good at catching them. But this is so blatant is almost laughable if it wasn't such a sad situation.

I could just cry. She needs to say what happened to this child.

franI want to say that I hope she remains in custody while they are completing testing on her car. Would rather have her under a watchfull eye so she doesn't God forbid end up like Trenton's mother.

Gee Fran, you said what I was thinking. I usually like to give people the benefit of the doubt. The lies are so IN YOUR FACE in this case that you can't miss them.
I will say it again. I think more than one person knows what happened in this case.
GMA is the sad example of a mother who would rather go to prison then admit her daughter is no good. I have seen others like her before, and it always ends up badly!
