I keep saying this over and over. I'm sure that MySpace does not belong to and was not created by Casey. Why would she steal pictures from OTHER PEOPLE'S Photobucket accounts of her own daughter?

This person just WANTS to look suspicious. She WANTS people to message her asking her "OMG are you really Casey??" She's deleting everyone so we can't all look at her page. Just makes her more mysterious. That's what she's going for. IMO

Kinda thought it was odd that a supposed made up email, from a made up person - actually was used for something/someone?

(wasn't NY connected as suspicious in this case for a few different reasons? Zenaida had contact there, TonE was traveling there...)

None of the others came back as having a myspace.

Not sure if it's anything, but haven't seen it posted, so it's what I can contribute right now!!!


jlewis84@yahoo.com could be a legitimate email address but it might not be someone that Casey knows. Go to any well-known site like yahoo, hotmail, or aim and try to get a email address with your first initial, last name and a birth year in the 80's. If you have a fairly common last name, then that screen name is probably already taken. I don't want to discredit your findings, but I just want to say that it could be just a random email address that she picked.

Wow, really REALLY interesting because it was showing the last log in (when I posted this) as 2006!!!!! Wish I got a screen shot.... the guys name was "Gary", and he was from NY. He was also showing as 22.

Okay--before someone deleted that MySpace account (My mommy didn't kill me), I asked to be added, but it required knowledge of the person's name or email address. Obviously I tried Anthony, and it said it was incorrect. Then I tried to write an email to them to ask to be added, and that was allowed so the email went through. I never did get a response.

However, I signed up for ProfileSnitch.com, which captures info on who visits your site. It's not exact--from what I have found in researching, no tracker is every totally 100% correct. Someone could check your page, and it wouldn't register every single view.

The day I sent the email asking to be added, I got this log in my ProfileSnitch stats:

Obviously the top one was me, which appeared when I checked my own page. THe second one, I have no idea who it is. When I pasted the IP address into google, I got this search result:

The thing is that my MySpace has never been active; I just seldom use it until lately. So it can't be a coincidence that someone from around Orlando FL (the IP is actually mapped as Orlando, though the tracker itself says that it is a Castleberry IP) looked at my profile right after I sent that email to the Mommy didn't kill me account.

In other words, I have no idea who this person is/was, but I do not think it was Casey since the IP clearly identifies a male.

What do you all think of these findings?

i'm doing alright. just trying to work the kinks out of a few situations. nothing too extreme. planning a little *surprise* for a special someone (hint, hint). i can't wait for you to finally see the munchkin. she'll be as tall as me by the time you get here, but she probably still won't be putting a whole sentence together.
i'm all over going to busch gardens. although the new rollercoaster is quite intimidating, and i did chicken-out on my birthday, i may have to attempt it this time.
as far as the tattoo... i have a few ideas in the works. drawing up a couple things. i'll have a definite idea within the next week or so. cherry blossoms are beautiful. i think it will complete your arm very well. good stuff - and yeah, totally agree. solid image is the only place i'll go. bobby owes me a fill anyway.
it's almost 4am here, and i really couldn't sleep. glad i came on to see your message. i was in need of a pick-me-up, and this did the job. SO happy you're doing well.

anyway. trying to figure out tattoo ideas. there are few people i would love to share the experience with, and well, you are most definitely one of them. as far as things here, i'm doing well. looking for a new job, trying to figure out what to do with school, and all that crazy stuff. same old. not too much has changed. my relationship history is of course repeating itself, like i should be surprised at this point. i guess i'm one of those that has yet to be lucky in love. someday.
i'm assuming everyone is doing well. i haven't heard otherwise, so i guess that's a good thing. definitely can't wait for our reunion though. i've missed my boys, definitely one in particular

The way I understand it, from things Rev G has said, Casey and JG had a short (one night stand) fling and some time later she told him she was pregnant. Since apparently her parents didn't know until she was pregnant until her 7th month it might have been around then. He did the right thing and offered to marry her. He had doubts about paternity and had DNA tests done. I believe I heard that Caylee was about 10 months old when it was proven he wasn't the father so I would guess they should have broken up around then. I think I remember seeing something for around April or May 2006 that she had a web site for a wedding.

things have been pretty hectic as of late, with trying to be home with my family, have a social life, work & find another job all at the same time. plus, i'm trying to decide what school i want to enroll in for the fall semester. so many choices, no idea what i want to major in this time.

i'm doing alright. just trying to work the kinks out of a few situations. nothing too extreme. planning a little *surprise* for a special someone (hint, hint). i can't wait for you to finally see the munchkin. she'll be as tall as me by the time you get here, but she probably still won't be putting a whole sentence together.
i'm all over going to busch gardens. although the new rollercoaster is quite intimidating, and i did chicken-out on my birthday, i may have to attempt it this time.
as far as the tattoo... i have a few ideas in the works. drawing up a couple things. i'll have a definite idea within the next week or so. cherry blossoms are beautiful. i think it will complete your arm very well. good stuff - and yeah, totally agree. solid image is the only place i'll go. bobby owes me a fill anyway.

well, you aren't the only one that hasn't really talked to anyone. cory's probably the only one that's attempted to call me in the past few months, but, you know the history with that. haha.
anyway. trying to figure out tattoo ideas. there are few people i would love to share the experience with, and well, you are most definitely one of them. as far as things here, i'm doing well. looking for a new job, trying to figure out what to do with school, and all that crazy stuff. same old. not too much has changed. my relationship history is of course repeating itself, like i should be surprised at this point. i guess i'm one of those that has yet to be lucky in love. someday.
i'm assuming everyone is doing well. i haven't heard otherwise, so i guess that's a good thing. definitely can't wait for our reunion though. i've missed my boys, definitely one in particular

She must have manually changed her last log in date! I say that because it shows she last logged in on 6/9/2008 but all her logos or whatever they are called show the Cayleeismissing stuff. Can you change the last log in date to be inaccurate *or* can you change your profile name without loggin in?

Yes, normally on myspace pages there is a link at the bottom of the friend's list that says view "mutual". Chris' template doesn't have that. If you use firefox, go to the myspace page, hit view in the toolbar, selet "page style", and change it to "no style". Then you will see the page without a template. The "mutual" selection will be available.

I just did this in firefox with this page and it works. Hope I didn't confuse you!

Yes, normally on myspace pages there is a link at the bottom of the friend's list that says view "mutual". Chris' template doesn't have that. If you use firefox, go to the myspace page, hit view in the toolbar, selet "page style", and change it to "no style". Then you will see the page without a template. The "mutual" selection will be available.

I just did this in firefox with this page and it works. Hope I didn't confuse you!

Extended network just means that you have a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend that may be connected to that person. (you know like the seven degrees of Kevin Bacon thing?) That is all it means. Just a way for them to point out how you can be connected to someone. It says that on everyone's page basically. But you have the option to change it to what you are doing that day. Extended network is the default.

Ok, let's try to step through just how easily things could spiral out of control in any on line community, just using WS as an example.

Let's say I committed a crime tonight. (I'm trying to figure out a way to write this without posting anyone's username.)

So, I blame a random member here because I saw the name here or there. Let's say I picked a member that is highly respected by many. 'Member X'

So the research begins, and 'Member X' isn't on my WS friend list. But if you look at my friends, you notice 'Member Y', maybe someone who has been Mod spanked recently, so there is a moment when some of you would say, "Ahah, I knew that Tater hung out with a bad element!"

So you start sleuthing 'Member Y' and notice they are friends with the one I threw under the bus in the first place, 'Member X'. So geee - there is the connection, therefore they both must be involved in some conspiracy to do with my crime, and both Member X and Member Y are now looked upon with suspicion. (As are any of their WS friends - if your mindset is guilt by association.)

Meanwhile, I'm sitting pretty and two more innocent victims have fallen prey to "lose links" and have been besmirched, just because I gave any old name out of the forum that I chose to.

You follow? That is how easily you can make poor assumptions and connections in on line communities.

I mean, I greatly simplified that, but that is very similar to what the discovered links that started this thread have in common.

IMO, far, far, far too many innocent people have had their lives and reputations sullied by this case.

Casey OWNS it. No one else, Casey does. (IMO)

Just to be fair...a lot of single mothers do not talk about their kids all the time with potential boyfriends. This right here is very telling, at least to me...

Something happens to Caylee here, most likely accidental...and the frantic phone calls begin. Call dad, no answer. Call mom, no answer.

I frantically make phone calls when I REALLY need to get ahold of someone. I'll call non stop a few times until I can get ahold of them, or realize they're not able to answer the phone.

She most likely freaked that she couldn't get ahold of anyone, and rather than call 911, she panicked, and tried to hide that sweet angel.

No calls until the next day...

Hmmm, being the social butterfly she is, it's hard to believe she didn't call anyone from 7:30 until the next day. Pretty obvious she didn't want anyone to know what she was doing or where she was going.How about this spin . . . the flurry of calls weren't answered on purpose. Casey was calling her parents to beg their forgiveness for acting up the night before. Maybe that's when the punishment began.

The only difference from now, and any other age.. Is that women are able to do what men have always been able to do.

Women no longer have to be virginal to marry. So that isn't an issue. DNA testing of babys ensures who the Daddy is, so that is no longer an issue. Those were the 2 main reasons women were not allowed to be as free as men. ANd thinking that if women were free before marriage, they would be just as free after the wedding. If so.. then the same theory holds for the men.. Hmm...

Up until a month or 2 ago, there were codes to view aspects of a private profile - BULLETINS, comments, pictures, etc. Sadly, they have been patched, but it would have been a great resource to use to check out the private profiles and the bulletins on all of them.

Sometimes you can google the myspace friend id or username and get the cached page from when the googlebot crawled the page. This can be useful if the profile is recently private or if you want to see if any comments were deleted or top friends edited.

On June 9, 2008, she started getting MySpace messages inviting her to go to the club (Fusion). Continued receiving messages until June 25. On July 16, she received text message from Casey: Caylee is missing. She has been missing for the last 32 days ..." She corresponded with Casey regarding this message and Casey told her to keep an eye out for "a silver Ford Focus, 4-door. Ms. Scheiber still had the emails and copied them into a Word file. She agreed to come to the station so that the text messages could be downloaded by computer forensics.

Wonder why on June 9th Casey started trying to hang out with her? Was she trying to get some kind of an alibi or something? Any ideas?

She was a myspace friend to folks who were Lee's friends - and she also showed up as a friend to ZG (not sure when) - strange that now, after all this while of being public ZG's space is now private.

Maybe folks she befriended started leaving nasty messages?
Or maybe someone who befriended her told her to check out the boards - and directed her to some unkind comments about her?

I was reading the statement from the guy Jeff H. the one who Casey said she worked with and knew about Caylee being takin by Z the N and he told LE he went to High School with Casey and bumped into her a few months back at some place that he was eating. He hadn't spoken to her in years. [paraphrasing] but isn't this the same guy who is on LA myspace or facebook page. He didn't say a thing to LE that he was friends with Lee. Why would you not tell LE that. I think all of these people knew each other and they all know something about each other so no one wants to talk or point a finger at somethone becasue it would be to easy to have them point one back at you.

(No the date is not an error…this page was created in 2006) You can’t change the URL on the myspace. You can change the title but not the myspace.com/cayleeismissing. When you put a URL it is forever or you have to delete it and create another one. The question is asked two or three times before it becomes active. I only looked at the date because they said she created it to find her and it only had seven friends when I saw it and it had not been logged on since 16 July 2008 until the family took it over and started using it. This account is now somehow merged with the Cayleeismissing myspace page. Not quite sure how they did that…but it’s merged.

Yeah I ain't myspace savvy either. I never use it but I assume she could've sit it up in 2006 yet not given it the name until now. This seems very unlikely though
