Geez, I am TRYING to follow this case, but it is so hard to keep up with everything as well as the Okalahoma case, work and personal life. I am getting confused here. Is Amy one of Casey's girlfriends? If so, briefly, what is the story behind her? Thanks anyone!

Here you go: Fortunately all these inconsistencies are coming back to haunt the Anthony family, and will perhaps cause one of them to finally reveal the truth. But they are hard nuts to crack. I truly believe once LE has all the information on the contents of the trunk (the fluid, the hair and the dirt), they will be able to start proper proceedings to charge Caylee Anthony with murder. And if she didn't do it, she will talk then. I can't see her covering for anyone else. Even if she was threatened, I don't think she will take the fall for someone else if they hurt little Caylee.
I think Jesse is involved though. I recall reading SOMEWHERE that there was a male with her when she borrowed the shovel. I cannot recall where I read it. On a very early thread. I will look for it. Might even have been on Nancy Grace. Not sure but will find it.
So many facts lost in a million posts. It's like you read, stop to make a comment and 10 posts have appeared between the time you hit reply and enter.

Yes, it would be important if there were a male with her when she borrowed the shovel. If you could find it...that would be a piece of critical information, imo. I have not heard or read that tid bit...that I can remember at least.
Cindy is the last person known for a fact to have had Caylee. I want to see some proof that someone else saw her with Casey, Jesse, or anyone else. We have not heard of one person who has seen her with Casey after that video was made to my knowledge.

wow, just wow, took the night off the computer to clear my head, spent time w/the kids and get back on this morning to almost a thousand posts.
The only one I was really looking for was the one that said Caylee found.

you know when i read that i was so new in the case, and i also knew there was an anthony involved i may have read 'anthony took the shovel' not as her being referred by her last name but thinking they were speaking of some man named anthony. but im still looking through old news reports for forgotten tidbits! lol. i totally didn't realize they not only took the shovel from the neighbours house, but their computer too!

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office continues to follow up on all tips relating to the Caylee Anthony investigation. All tips are evaluated for their veracity and then, if warranted, prioritized for further investigation. The agency has received hundreds of tips during the course of this ongoing investigation.
Information that Caylee Anthony was send boarding an aircraft at the Orlando International Airport is currently being investigated. Any information generated from this tip deemed credible to the case will be made public at the appropriate time.
Investigators continue to ask anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Caylee Anthony to call Central Florida Crimeline at 1.800.423.8477. Callers with information on this case may remain anonymous.
We have no additional information to offer you on this case today. Any breaking news will be provided immediately as it becomes available.

i was just rereading the affidavit. do you think maybe there really was a zenaida gonzalez, who did check out that sawgrass apt and used false information on her card, like a different ZG's cellphone, so that she couldn't be traced? for what reasons i don't know. i mean if someone with that name had anything to do with this, either in cahoots with casey or not.

The name sure is a mystery. I wonder how she came up with this person as being the nanny. Did she know a Zenaida Gonzalez or did she randomly pick someone from the phone book?
Re the bamboo tree or whatever it was - i had a bamboo plant in my yard - barely came to my knees...... had the worst time trying to dig that thing out - took me forever and then I didn't get all the roots. The soil down here sucks for digging!

No offense, hun, but post "374 (a copy of your original post) has an awful lot of interesting details which your later link lacks. For instance, why is the address mouse-ville-IncrediM...?
Does 'Amy' 'work for the Mouse'? Is this whole thing some kind of twisted Disney Production?
I ask because there are a lot of people here who have spent a lot of time caring for these people. I, personally, will be incensed if I discover this to be a hoax. But that is the way I am leaning at the moment. None of these people seem real. Where are their real employment records? Former LE and Registered Nurses should be on file with the State they were employed in. Why are all of the actors in this drama only vaguely employed? Where are their co-workers? What dates were they on vacation? Every fact is an evasion, even under oath. This whole thing stinks to high heaven. Hinky meters have pegged out.
Open question to anyone: Can we get an authentic birth certificate for Caylee Marie Anthony? Who is this child? Where is the Doctor who delivered her? In what Hospital? Where are the real people who loved her? Where are her extended family? Aunts, Uncles, cousins?
I agree that the crazy actors with immaculate hairdo's are not really making the cut at this point in time.
America cares about lost little children who are in danger. Not these sideshow freaks. This little girl better not be a pawn in some big-shot's game, is all.
Or there will be hell to pay. (With an extended layover in Atlanta.)

Just saw the piece on the Today Show. What is this that shows GP moving out of the house? The narrator said he was leaving to aid the search (or st to that effect). He also was shown saying "We are very very close (to a resolution). That's all that I can say." What's going on here? Why is he moving out (I have my own thoughts about that!)

I can't imagine Casey would not be talking if others were involved in the disappearance of Caylee, someone may have helped in the cover up of what happened but I think she is responsible for Caylle death.

I think they must be checking out the Olveida (?) house, for example. Despite what Baez says, "finding Caylee" and "prosecuting Casey" are going to be one and the same. And Casey is proving useless in the former. Investigate, gather the evidence re; Casey, and you'll have your answers. No one needs Casey's "input," thank you.

Agreed I watched Baez last night and he knows that Casey is responsible, he is just trying to save her azz, I would love to know what Casey's answer was when the police asked her when is the last day you say Caylee.

I am watching now on GMA....grandma is a head-case. Says she has a new tip in Corneilia Georgia. I live in GA and will check on it. Funny how grandma keeps focusing on these tips and keeps the public's focus off of the car smell and the fact they are digging in your backyard!!!!

I would think that if Caylee is with a "kidnapper", she would be under lock and key at this point. Not out petting puppies in a park. Let's hope to GOD that this is true though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok,.. I am still trying to catch up but I wanted to throw out this story I thought of last night. My heart doesn't want to think that Casey could actually murder her own daughter so I was trying to think of all these ways a babysitter could be involved and her is what I came up with. Its a little far fetched but it might have some truth in it.
Casey has been dealing drugs for money. Something happened to a LARGE amount of money or drugs. Either someone stole money or drugs from her or she spent the money or "shared" the drugs with friends for a party. This would explain why she was always at clubs. She was partying with friends and selling drugs at the same time. Well her dealer tried to get his money and she didn't have it. So SOMEHOW he got a hold of Caylee because he knows how much she means to her. For the 5 weeks she is missing, she is trying to come up with the money to give to her dealer. And that's why she wouldn't go to the police or her mother. She would be in trouble for selling drugs. In her mind she thinks she can find Caylee on her own because she doesn't want to go to jail for drugs. She is 22 so she still is very immature. She steals the money and checks from Amy so she can pay off the drug dealer, plus whatever money she has taken from who knows who. Remember Lee saying that she told him that TOMORROW she could take him to see Caylee. Maybe she had all the money by then but GM got to her before she could "contact" her dealer. And of course GM would not have liked the fact that she was selling drugs.
The only thing that I could come up with about the hit on the trunk would be if a friend overdosed and she helped "move" them away from the party location with other friends. But I don't understand the smell then.
I know that this makes no sense and we all seem to know that Caylee is not with us anymore but I just had to think of a way that Casey's story could be true. IT hurts my heart to think that she is dead and its because of her mother. :(

It looked to me like GP was heading for Georgia with an ice chest in the back and a gun on his hip. I don't think he's moving out. Two more tips says GM and for us to picture Caylee with blond hair. They have not seen the sketch.

If she was taking them as well she wouldn't make a profit. I had a friend who dealt drugs when I was younger and with his profit he would just do the drugs and give the money to his dealer. Some drug dealers sell drugs to support their habit. if she was selling something that was very popular with her friends, I am sure she was doing them with them.

I too am in GA. South Met ATL. I do accounting for a trucking brokerage and we load in Cornelia/Murrayville. I have 20/25 truckers going in/out of that area. Do we have a quick link for poster already created?

I don't think this means anything necessarily but when Cindy first went on TV didn't she say something to the effect "I thought I was here to talk about a beautiful life" which coincidently is Casey's tattoo.
Casey and Cindy remind me so much of my sister and mother. A lot of people are referring to Casey as spoiled. No way, not in the traditional sense anyway. My mother and sister, are partners in crime, they go through a lot of misery to protect each other, occasionally they may benefit one another but it's no kind of life. They use the phrase "You and Me against the world" with each other, not so much as code but as a reminder when they can't really talk that they're "there for each other".

Yep, haven't spoken to my mom and sis for 12 years. People like them pull you into the drama. I had my credit card stolen, they cashed bad checks in my account and then when I would get mad, I was the jerk, go figure LOL

Morning everyone! :coffee: I have actually been up since 5:00am doing some digging online. One thing I just realized: It was reported that Casey got the tattoo a couple of weeks after Caylee went missing, and the tattoo says "Bella Vida" (which I'm wondering if it actually says Bella VITA and I'll tell ya why in a minute). It also said that the tattoo had stars on it, and that Casey supposedly got the tattoo in honor of Caylee and she chose the stars because Caylee loves stars.
Well....I think that's yet another lie. I think the tattoo has nothing to do wth Caylee at all. The stars - it's apparent on her photobucket account ( http://s160.photobucket.com/albums/t168/icons157/?start=280 ) that it is actually CASEY who is very into stars. There is page after page of stars throughout her photobucket account. So saying she got stars because Caylee loves them, I highly doubt. Also, the Bella Vita comment I made....there is one particular "icon" on her photobucket that says "La Bella Vita". So clearly this is a phrase that she's been thinking about for some time now. Based on where it was positioned in her album, I would guess that she had that icon before she got the tattoo.
So what the heck is my point? LOL. I'm not sure I have one. But it's something I noticed and wanted to point out. Cindy said that Zenaida Gonzalez was a code name and that got me wondering about the tattoo and whether it's a secret code or whatever. Consequently, there is a Bella Vida road in Orlando....as well as some townhomes with the name. Maybe the tattoo is code for where her daughter is buried? Just speculation but....this case is so bizarre that I wouldn't be shocked by anything at this point. :bang:

IRRC the question was 'do the police have these tips' and the answer was 'yes'. I don't remember Meridith asking who got the tips first. Sorry I have such limited recall.

I wish she would just come right out and say, "don't call me, call the police." Not saying that she's making things up, but if there's any chance that Caylee is alive, false tips will just slow down the investigation. LE is much better suited to screening out the flakes who might call in false information. jmo

So could this be another lie? Or could the picture of been after she got the tattoo and before her arrest?

I think your theory sounds reasonable - it would explain why she didn't call the police as well as the money she reportedly stole from Amy. This makes sense to me! Good thinkin! :clap:

Regarding GM on FOX this morning. I didn't catch the attorney's answer when asked if Casey had mental problems. I only heard him dwell on the fact that he is sure she is not in withdrawal from drugs.
Also, Megan said "that's not what her friends said". when asked about Caylee always being at the beach, with the Nanny, at Universal, etc. Did I hear that right?
Anyway, the reason I ask about the mental issue is this could possibly have an impact on whether Casey could use the insanity defense, right?

The original tip (where someone saw her boarding a flight to Atlanta), they said the girl matched the description. Cindy is now reporting (on Today Show) that they have received 2 additional tips of sightings in Georgia. She said for us to "picture Caylee with blonde hair" which of course seems to indicate that in at least one of these new tips the little girl had blonde hair.

Absolutely, I do. I only caveat that by saying that if they find Caylee's remains first, she may go to trial based on the actions of GMA.
However, I think when the forensics come back, bottom-feeding Baez will not have a choice but to try to plead her down. I'm sure he is just waiting for that conversation because he fears Casey will crack in an interrogation setting, prior.

I don't think the father is dead and I also don't think he's a big boss. Cindy would be all about money if he was someone of character. Him being married is a possibility.
I'd initially thought Jesse is the father but there is no credible reason for them to hide that. I think Jesse was manning up to do the right thing for Casey and Caylee.
They are lying about who this father is for a very big reason. Casey was of legal age when she got pregnant with Caylee so that rules out my other thought.

GMA is on the verge of a major breakdown, possibly the onset of 2nd phase of grief.. Supposition on my part, but Im guessing at least a piece of forensics is back, Baez has been told and they are requesting an interview with Casey prior to other testing coming back.
Baez called Padilla a liar on Nat'l TV last night, not smart, and if I were him and LE/DA I would put the turbo on to stop the draining of the staff to run down these ridiculous leads..

You're right on, I think. Did they ever say if Baez went to the jail last night to meet with LE? He's keeping them at bay and he knows it. Just now got a chance to see the Today Show video, and noticed that Cindy says she got the tips after the people called LE and didn't get a response. Isn't that what she said about the Atlanta tip, too? Strange that nobody is getting calls back from LE, isn't it?

I almost wish they would set up a meeting with Casey & her brother at the jail I have a funny feeling Casey is bursting at the seams but is scared to death to tell what happened with Caylee...IMO she KNOWS but can't & doesn't have to face her mother right now but I think the brother could get her to admit what she knows.....like he said to in court, what do you have to gain by the police if Caylee is ok and you just wont tell us where she is.....then she broke down to him that she hadn't seen her for 31 days.....
I think right now her mother is her worst fear, facing her and telling her. Casey is going to crack at some point......I just hope it's sooner then later. I think Casey feels "safe" from her mother in jail, she can't be interogated by her while in jail......

Casey started counting days June 16th. The 2 instances we have are the facebook posting where she says she hasn't been living at the "house" in 9 days. (9 days from that posting would be the 15th-16th of June) Then she tells Lee on early on the morning of July 16th that she hasn't "seen" Caylee in 31 days. (Again 15th or 16th of June)

ok,.. I am still trying to catch up but I wanted to throw out this story I thought of last night. My heart doesn't want to think that Casey could actually murder her own daughter so I was trying to think of all these ways a babysitter could be involved and her is what I came up with. Its a little far fetched but it might have some truth in it.
Casey has been dealing drugs for money. Something happened to a LARGE amount of money or drugs. Either someone stole money or drugs from her or she spent the money or "shared" the drugs with friends for a party. This would explain why she was always at clubs. She was partying with friends and selling drugs at the same time. Well her dealer tried to get his money and she didn't have it. So SOMEHOW he got a hold of Caylee because he knows how much she means to her. For the 5 weeks she is missing, she is trying to come up with the money to give to her dealer. And that's why she wouldn't go to the police or her mother. She would be in trouble for selling drugs. In her mind she thinks she can find Caylee on her own because she doesn't want to go to jail for drugs. She is 22 so she still is very immature. She steals the money and checks from Amy so she can pay off the drug dealer, plus whatever money she has taken from who knows who. Remember Lee saying that she told him that TOMORROW she could take him to see Caylee. Maybe she had all the money by then but GM got to her before she could "contact" her dealer. And of course GM would not have liked the fact that she was selling drugs.
The only thing that I could come up with about the hit on the trunk would be if a friend overdosed and she helped "move" them away from the party location with other friends. But I don't understand the smell then.
I know that this makes no sense and we all seem to know that Caylee is not with us anymore but I just had to think of a way that Casey's story could be true. IT hurts my heart to think that she is dead and its because of her mother. :(
Ok I wrote this quote and I came up with a reason why the trunk had decompostion in the trunk,.... ZG is the drug dealer and she did find ZG. ZG did not have Caylee with her. She freaked out. Where is my daughter? Tell me where my daughter is? And she killed her. Put her in the trunk and someone helped with the disposal of the body. (Jesse) She freaks and leaves the car when it starts to smell.
I know this is not the case and that Caylee is more likely dead than alive. I just can't get my head/heart around her killing that poor little girl. The pictures of them together remind me too much of me and my two year old daughter :(

Read the story on MyfoxOrlando.com this morning that the grandfather has recorded a message pleading the public for information about Caylee.
Looks like the parents are going into Scott Peterson mode -- they will never believe their daughter did this.
They could have photos of Casey burying her daughter -- and they STILL wouldn't believe it. They would claim they were doctored. I have a feeling that Casey now that she is lawyered up -- will never admit to this.
Law Enforcement is going to either have to find the body, or have some overwhelming circumstantial evidence.

Even if Caylee is found alive I am not entirely sure this family will get her back. Child neglect will still be an issue and gma has not aligned herself with LE at all.

Attorneys do make more money the longer this goes to trial, but from what I've seen, this family is depleted. Right now, his only gain is publicity.

The original tip (where someone saw her boarding a flight to Atlanta), they said the girl matched the description. Cindy is now reporting (on Today Show) that they have received 2 additional tips of sightings in Georgia. She said for us to "picture Caylee with blonde hair" which of course seems to indicate that in at least one of these new tips the little girl had blonde hair.
Or she is insinuating that by now "they" have bleached her hair? I dont buy
this story. Why didnt these people call the POLICE with this imfo? Why did only cindy hear from them?? And, no, kidnappers would NOT allow little girl to stand there and say my name is: caylee antny and Im 3 noooo way if she was kidnapped!

I bolded that statement. I truly believe that the family does know...Casey, Cindy, George and yes even Lee. George and Lee have to know by their actions/no actions/comments/no commets.
I think they know or think they know like we all do that Casey knows what happened to Caylee & was involved.....BUT I think they Cindy, George & Lee need for Casey to tell them/confess it etc. Until they do there will be this sense of denial as to well just maybe Caylee is out there & alive.....
I know as mother myself I would ibe n despair because everything is pointed in my daughter direction but I would BEG her to just tell me what happened I would have to KNOW......they deserve to know. I would demand that they charge or or hold her until she talks if she was my daughter (I know they can't do that but that's just how I feel)

If I was in Florida, I'd go do that investigation myself! I'm dying to find out about the paternal side of Caylee. This is a very big secret for so many reasons.
Oh me too! Last night I tried to find online birth records for Florida, but was unsuccessful. I know several states have them online, (recent births as well), but not Florida.
If I can recall correctly, wasn't it mentioned that the father's name isn't on Caylee's BC? We know that's a somewhat common practice for quite some time now. (my biological father's name isn't listed on my BC, but for different reasons, and I'm 52. Now that was an uncommon practice back in the 1950s).
But in general, I would love to research Caylee's paternal side as well.

Casey is so much like my daughter that it is scary. she has stolen money from me, my car, shop lifted, credit card fraud, moved in and out of my house, does not work name it she does it, and to hear her tell it, she did not do it, and she has been arrested and charged for this stuff. when she is on what they call a high everything is peachy, but when she is on a downward spiral look out she can be satan (sorry to be harsh but its the truth). When she was down I would not leave her alone with the kids. She would do stuff and swear she didn't. the reason I got custody of the 17 month old son, when she left my house in Nov. 07 and left Ga. I immediately called I DSS in NC. Because she likes to party and she would leave the baby with so called friends, drug addicts that she may have only known for 5 mins. but to her it was her friends. DSS watched her and kept up with her, she got beat up pretty bad 2 weeks after she left here, DSS really watching her after that because my grandson was in the bath tub with her when it happened. She moves from one friends house to the next, we never know where she is living. DSS was having trouble locating her and I was on the phone daily with them worried about my grandson. She knew I called DSS, I told her that I would call them before I would let her hurt my grandson I would see her dead in hell! So in Jan. I got my Grandson, I have custody she is still in NC doing god only knows, But I have him, he is safe and my granddaughter is with her dad. Oh yea as far as a dad for my grandson we really do not know who it is the one she claimed DNA said no, The one she says now no DNA has been done, I don't want it. He is a drug head and thief and stays in jail, he is the one that beat my daughter really bad. He is out of the picture. before I forget she would try and give my Grandson stuff to make him sleep and I threw everything out and took the tyneol with me. With my daughter partying and her friends is life to this day
JMO Casey may have well done something to this child, but in her mind she has convinced herself she has not, and based on experience with my daughter you can't convince them to tell the truth because their mind is totaly different when they are in a downward spiral. as far as the GM goes, if she had not seen her granddaughter for that lenght of time she should have contacted DSS, Like I did, my daughter left on a friday eveing I called DSS on monday morning.

I disagree wtih you. The free advertising that he is getting is invaluable. He's on TV everynight -- that is the reason he is REALLY doing this case. For his future. The more his name gets out in the air -- the more clients he hopefully will secure in the future.
Think about how great his resume will look if he can keep a baby killer out of prisom. Criminals will be lining up at his door.

Defense attourneys advise guilty people to shut up and let them do the talking until he can come up with a DEFENSE. I think he knows something is not right in caseyland......he has his work cut out for him. Especialy after hearing the Cadaver dog K-9 officer testimony. NOT looking good. I would think by now the Police wouldve taken the computer out of the home, did they? They need to search the house before they can get rid of anything. And BTW, who leaves old pizza in a car down here in FL? Is THAT weird? Cindy seems like a neat freak to me and its strange they would leave a bag of smelly garbage in one of their cars for 19 days in this heat. I hope i dont get one of those automated calls, everyone down here by now knows what Casey looks lik, she has been all over the News.

I just saw the Today show video and putting aside all of grandma's actions and attitude in the past week, I just pity her. Did you notice her body language? The constant moving of her fingers? This woman is a nervous wreck and on the edge. Regardless of the family dynamics, sometimes grandchildren are like a second chance at life, at raising children, making it different the second time around. I have seen this in my mom and how she is so different with my kids than she was with me. So, I just have pity for Cindy and the rest of the family, the seemed to truly love the girl and she was another daughter for her.
Most of all my heart breaks for the beautiful Caylee, but a whole family has shipwrecked. So many lives have been destroyed by Caysee, it just makes no sense and it is heartbreaking.

I feel like you are talking about my 34 yo cousin......you jsut described her to a "T". Although her mother continutes to enable and is in denial reminds me very much of Cindy Anthony and I fear Cindy will never accept that Casey had anythign to do with this unless it comes from Casey's lips and even then somehow Cindy will make it abotu Casey beeing the victim. I see this happen in my own family my aunt has never made my cousin be accounable for anything ever and it's always someone else fault and not her daughters etc.....

If she's lying about paternity, it could be as simple as not wanting to lose/share Caylee. While the people she associates with may party, they also seem to be upstanding and responsible, and most have decent jobs. IMO, if the father was somebody in her circle, AND this was made known to him, there was a huge risk of him stepping up and calling Casey out on her behavior, perhaps resulting in her losing custody, or getting it reduced.
Or the father could be pretty scummy, and she was just trying to protect Caylee. Orrrr she lied to whoever the father was about being on birth control, and... well, hell. We've seen the lengths she'll go to with her lies, and her willingness to keep them going -- "Why yes, Officer, I work right here at Universal! In this building *walk walk walk*. Well, actually... APRIL FOOL'S!" -- this could fall into that vein.
I'm not sure I believe the 'died in a car crash' thing. It's not out of the question, but Idunno. I think that if Jesse were the father, it wouldn't be hush hush. I think some have speculated that they'd keep it quiet because his dad is ... uh, religious, but I get the sense that if he'd been upset, he'd have gotten over it and been proud of his son for 'doing the right thing'.

I am sorry you have to go through that. It must be very difficult. Thank God those babies have you.
I am a special education teacher and I have had several students with bipolar disorder. Of course, I can't diagnose it but Casey reminds me very much of them. I had some kids who tried so hard to be "good" but just couldn't keep it together, and when they were "bad" they made up some sort of lie in their head and believed it...some sort of defense mechanism. It is a terrible disease. The children in my class were about 8-10 years younger though so it may have had a little to do with their age. (Also, I am not saying all people with bipolar disorder are like this- I just have two kids in mind.)
I'm starting to get convinced she believes her own lies and doesn't even know what is real anymore.

Just watched some of lastnights Greta that I'd tivo'd and a few things jump out -- sorry if they've already been discussed... I've been trying to keep up but this thread is moving so quickly! :)
In the video of Casey's bedroom -- did anyone else notice that the ultrasound of Caylee said "I love you Grandma & Grandpa" (I had to pause it quickly to read it). You'd think it would say "I love you mom" or something to that effect... just seemed weird to me. Why would it not say "I love you mommy"?? And GM just went on & on about how many pictures of Caylee Casey had... ect, ect.
Dr. Badin (sp?) also said that the hair found in the trunk could be tested, and under the microscope they could tell if it was from someone who was alive or dead. There are differences between the two and they would be able to tell.
He also stated that the hair found could be tested for paternity. Which in the grand scheme of things doesn't matter (Caylee just needs to be found!) but I hadn't thought of that before.
Anyways, sorry to ramble but wanted to share a few things that interested me. I've only watched the first 10 minutes or so... hopefully they'll cover more.

My daughter is out on bond right now for felony possession, I want help her at all, I REFUSE TO! I have had it with her, I have my grandson, he is safe. But, I worry daily about a phone call, that she has been killed. But as her mother and a grandmother now with a total of 8 grandkids (YEA). My number one priority is those grand babies, they did not ask to be here and they need to be taken care of, My other children take very good care of their kids, I have no worries there.
JMO, I feel the GM is hiding something.

if she is her actions do not represent a new GM, when I had my first I was so excited I talked with her on the phone daily, and she was only days old.
Also, JMO maybe the zanny's aka Xanax Caylee found by accident and took, and everyone is afraid because Casey paniced, or Casey could have left Caylee like my daughter use to do and Caylee was harmed there. Again JMO trying to make sense of all this

This was not the same comment where she was supposedly working on some training certificate. The source tells Eyewitness News that special cadaver dogs will have to be called in to sniff the slab. The family says they have told deputies about all the changes they've made to their house recently and that investigators cleared the home.
Eyewitness News is working to get more details about the tip from the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

I remember the one in Oregon. It took a reporter and a relative filming the sloppy poured concrete pad and threatening on TV to dig it up themselves before LE came out. One girl was buried under it, the other found in a shed nearby.

Maybe Jesse was under the impression he was the Daddie and found out he wasn't. Hence the end of engagement.
My other thought......could KC & Jesse have "disposed" of someone else ( someone who was owed $$ for drugs or a person that needed to be shut up) this might explain Jesse's resignation from LE. They then passed Caylee off to protect her if they should be arrested. Or she (Casey) is being held by the person that hired KC & Jesse to complete a "job." and now Jesse, KC, and the rest of the ANthony family cannot disclose this until Caylee is located????
Long shot I know...to explain....my son and his girlfriend owed money for drugs and the dealer they owed "hired" them to quiet a narc. Their payment was that their debt would be paid off. Of course they were caught and sent to jail. We spent 3 days trying to locate my grandson by "discovering who their drug friends were that "might" have the child." It was quite an education into the drug culture and that lifestyle. This was in small town Vermont!!

This is a longshot, but are there any pictures of Casey before she left w/ Caylee? Is there a slim chance Casey was pregnant and did leave Caylee w/ someone so she could terminate the pregnancy herself? She looked pretty thin, so I doubt she could conceal a pregnancy. Just hoping for Caylee to be alive, but it doesn't look good.

Attorneys do make more money the longer this goes to trial, but from what I've seen, this family is depleted. Right now, his only gain is publicity.
He doesnt need them to pay him, Im certain he's got a cut of any future copyrights, exclusives, entertainment contracts, etc..

If Casey's friends are involved in anything illegal outside of their involvement with Casey they are NOT going to draw attention to themselves in ANYWAY by contacting LE about ANYTHING!!!

Going off-subject for a minute here, that reminds me of the Andrew Amato missing child case in Webster, MA, in 1978. My late ex-husband (who grew up in Webster, knew almost everyone in the local LE, and whose stepfather built that mobile home park where Andy Amato lived with his family) assisted in the search. I believe soon after the boy's disappearance, a new concrete patio was poured at the Amato family residence. I don't believe the patio was ever jackhammered, but about 10 years later the local newspaper conducted an interview with Andy's mother. She said that over the years, she had dreams that Andy was buried under cement.
Just gave me goosebumps for a second, after reading the story about the new concrete slab at the Anthony home. :eek:

I think the concret could fool the naked eye. But a test would show the true age. I don't think concrete could deter a good cadaver dog though. Which is why I kinda discount the latest info. I think LE would have brought out sonar and dug it up when they were out there before.
I believe in the Oregon case the cadaver dogs completely missed hitting on the concrete and shed.

I'm not sure about Cali but I know there was a guy in Oregon who did that a few years back... ugh.
IMO, if they'd hidden her beneath fresh concrete, they'd have come up with a better story, and not have let them search the backyard to start with. OTOH, I've read enough of these cases to know that those involved with crimes or covering them up usually exhibit some mind boggling stupidity.

I think the news agancies are starting to grab onto anything to get people's attention and keep it glued to their station, paper, etc. Which means we'll start hearing some misinfo and some old info spun a new way..ie,,Fox this morning.
I feel certain LE would have jackhammered the concrete the day the cadaver dog hit in the backyard if it hit in that spot. From searching cadaver dogs for other cases we found they can detect human decomp under concrete. Since they brought in 2 dogs, each on separate occassions..something was dead that was in the yard or placed on the yard

Although one of my oldest friends (who was a fierce party girl in the distant past), had a few friends who did conduct illegal activities, (drug dealing, mostly) and did turn themselves into LE in the hopes of lighter sentences. Rare occurance though.

It would make sense to me that Cindy would want Caylee there,and cover the accident for the sake of Casey.And Casey not being at the house for so long Maybe she couldn't stand the thought. And then she returns to retrieve Caylee while Gm and GP are not at home and put Caylee where she want's her.

Also strange that GM said for comfort she comes to Casey's room. Why wouldn't she seek comfort by going to Caylee's room?

If you check my posts, I posted a few days ago, (I did not read Brian's RV) that I believed Belle Isle is significant for 2 reasons:
Casey's tattoo and Jesse's comments on his myspace referring to Caylee as Belle (she was dressed in that costume).
When shinlit posted the map, Belle Isle stuck out to me, and I believe Caylee is in the landfill closest to it, not in the water.. I think LE should backtrack fro there and research the dumpster associated.
In fairness this is not solely my own theory, I consulted with a colleague who has and is working with me on other MP cases who prefers to remain anonymous. This info has been given to LE, fyi- wouldn't it be great if we are wrong, though?

This is VERY strange!!!! Ok,.. first of all someone else brought up 4th of July parties with family. They had to know that Caylee wasn't with Casey by then. They seem like they would all hang out and drink for the 4th and if Casey didn't come it would throw up a red flag. They find out that by the 4th or early. Casey has had Caylee in her trunk. They bury Caylee under the shed and the concrete is poured. I can just hear Cindy saying, "they will never think to look there."

My personal thought for today's sleuthing is this:
Let's not continue to look for zebras when horses are right there in front of us.
Cadaver dogs are specifically trained to do what they do. They do not alert on moldy pizza or garbage. They alert on dead, human, decomposing bodies. There was a body in the trunk of that car. There was a body (and may still be) somewhere in the Anthony's back yard. Caylee is missing. It only stands to reason that SHE is the body.

Suppose what Casey is saying is part truth, part lie. Usually people that are pathological liars have an inkling of truth mixed in that helps them to perpetrate the lie.
We know that Zanny G really is a person, really exists, and did visit and view the apartment that Casey lead LE to. However Zanny claims she doesn't know Casey.
Casey had alot of info that was true about the apartment being there. About this person's name, etc. But the apartment is empty. Somehow, Cindy has heard Casey talk about Zanny for a year or more as Caylee's nanny. So there is some bit of truth there. Could someone else have been posing as Zanny to Casey? Is it possible Casey did give Zanny ( the person she believed to be Zanny) this child to watch and when she went to get her it was all a charade? Maybe she does owe someone alot of money and they took the child and sold her.
Maybe confronts that person, they end up dead and she recruits a friend to help her dispose of the body and then ditches the car.
Farfetched..but I just can't let go of the fact that there is a Zanny G, that looked at that exact apartment to rent, but did not. Someone had to have had that info and made Casey believe that ...that has to be a connection there. Then the body fluids in the trunk and the cadaver dogs in the yard. Her parents on vacy..we are missing something important that connects all these dots.

Morning everyone! :coffee: I have actually been up since 5:00am doing some digging online. One thing I just realized: It was reported that Casey got the tattoo a couple of weeks after Caylee went missing, and the tattoo says "Bella Vida" (which I'm wondering if it actually says Bella VITA and I'll tell ya why in a minute). It also said that the tattoo had stars on it, and that Casey supposedly got the tattoo in honor of Caylee and she chose the stars because Caylee loves stars.
Well....I think that's yet another lie. I think the tattoo has nothing to do wth Caylee at all. The stars - it's apparent on her photobucket account ( http://s160.photobucket.com/albums/t168/icons157/?start=280 ) that it is actually CASEY who is very into stars. There is page after page of stars throughout her photobucket account. So saying she got stars because Caylee loves them, I highly doubt. Also, the Bella Vita comment I made....there is one particular "icon" on her photobucket that says "La Bella Vita". So clearly this is a phrase that she's been thinking about for some time now. Based on where it was positioned in her album, I would guess that she had that icon before she got the tattoo.
So what the heck is my point? LOL. I'm not sure I have one. But it's something I noticed and wanted to point out. Cindy said that Zenaida Gonzalez was a code name and that got me wondering about the tattoo and whether it's a secret code or whatever. Consequently, there is a Bella Vida road in Orlando....as well as some townhomes with the name. Maybe the tattoo is code for where her daughter is buried? Just speculation but....this case is so bizarre that I wouldn't be shocked by anything at this point. :bang:

I'm not feeling the "maybe somebody else was dead in the trunk" theory. Caylee is the only one reported missing. She's the important factor in this and her mother knows what happened but is being protected by her attorney and won't cooperate with LE.
I keep hearing in my head the questions that the rest of the family kept asking Casey the night they hauled her back home...
"What happened to Caylee?" ...
The truth really is in front of us. They suspected the worst, didn't want to believe it, but are covering it up enough to look like accomplices. Cindy was seen on video admitting that she and her husband both thought the smell in the car was human decomposition. Then she tried to mask that smell by putting trash in the car.

That could not be done forever. The longer everyone waited to report Caylee missing would only have made things look worse for anyone involved. Nobody else seems to have been reported missing that has some sort of ties to these people. Don't you think that if someone else were missing, with all the publicity this is getting, that we would have heard it by now? That someone in their family would be screaming that their son/daughter/sister/brother hasn't been seen, either???
Top all that off with the lies told by Casey. The interference by Casey's mother.
The probability is that the body is Caylee.

I have to agree with SuzQ, and I have personal knowledge that he and a few others are attempting to sell a pilot. That does not make them bad people necessarily, not making a judgement, but I have to say in the interest of full disclosure, anyone that has something riding on a case should say that upfront, imo..
