Amber Alert Issued for 13 Year Old Georgia Girl

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation issued the Amber Alert on Monday afternoon after it was determined that the girl was abducted in Austell on Saturday afternoon.

Brittany Simone Eddy 13 yrs., black female, 5'4", 160 pounds. She has black shoulder length hair.

The suspect is Lisa Hudson, a 46-year-old black woman, with black hair, 5'8", 140 pounds.

The suspect vehicle is a blue four door Chevrolet with unknown Georgia tags.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Austell police at 770 944-4331 or dial 911.

IT HAS BEEN REPORTED THAT BRITTNEY SIMONE EDDY BLACK FEMALE, AGE 13 DOB 5-9-1995, HEIGHT 5'4", WEIGHT 160LBS, BROWN EYES, BLACK HAIR (SHOULDER LENGHT). UNKNOWN CLOTHING. BRITTNEY SIMONE EDDY WAS ABDUCTED ON 7-26-2008 BY LISA HUDSON BLACK FEMALE AGE 46 DOB 10-31-1962 HEIGHT 5'8" WEIGHT 140LBS, BROWN EYES, BLACK HAIR. Have passed info along to family/friends via email and asked that they continue to forward. Any idea as to why the Aunt is considered to be a danger to Brittany?

They havent really released any details about why she is dangerous but only to take caution as she is expected to be extremely dangerous

Missingkids.com is saying the amber alert has been cancelled but no other site has said that and one of the ones I just looked at was updated 2 minutes ago.

It must have just been cancelled. Other sites should have updates soon. NCMEC is usually the first to start the chain.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation canceled the Amber Alert Monday night when it was learned that the girl is now safe with family members. No information on the suspect is available at this time.

That is the second alert cancelled in 2 days. The first one was a hoax made by 2 sisters. The problem is no one will be looking for the children who truly are missing the next time. I know it is best to err on the side of caution but in this large city the alerts will become the same as car alarms going off in parking lots..no one pays attention any more.
