Search Continues For Missing At-Risk Teen

The Fresno County Sheriff's Department is searching for a 13-year-old missing teen they call "at risk" because she is developmentally disable.

Investigators say they found the clothes of Jennifer Her at Fancher Canal on Kings Canyon and Dewitt on Sunday night.

Deputies immediately called for a dive team and additional crew to go door to door and hand out flyers in hopes of finding Jennifer.

Her family reported Jennifer missing on Saturday.

Officials plan to continue the water search on Tuesday morning.
Although Jennifer is 13-years-old, she functions at an 8-year-old level, officials say.

"People use the canal as a dumping ground, they put trash appliances...kids jump in they can immediately get entangled in stuff and drown," said Curtice."
