Merrill Police Chief Ned Seubert released the name of the girl who divers are still searching for in the Wisconsin River. Lydia Trostle, 17, of Merrill was last seen swimming with her friend when she reportedly started to struggle and went missing in the river last night.

The body of a 17-year-old girl that went missing Thursday night has been found.

At 6:25 p.m., divers recovered Lydia Trostle of Merrill from the Wisconsin River near the area that she was last reported seen.

Again, another tragic ending. One becomes numb after reading all these horrible deaths and dissapearances. May she rest in peace and her family be surrounded in comfort and peace now that they have closure.
