Authorities have called off the search for the body of a 15-year-old boy they believe drowned while swimming in Lake Michigan.

Sheboygan police say John Duong of Sheboygan was swimming with three other boys and a girl about 3:45 p.m. Saturday off the Sheboygan shore. They say the others got out of the water but Duong began to struggle. A witness called 911.

The body of Sheboygan teen John Duong was found Wednesday in Lake Michigan, less than two days after an exhaustive recovery effort had been called off.

As innocent as out there swimming with his friends and drowned. May he rest in peace and his family now have closure, may they too be surrounded in peace and comfort.
