11-year-old Bailey Vieth of Jefferson City is still missing, nearly two weeks after her family reported her disappearance to the Cole County Sheriff's Department.

I talked to Cole County Sheriff Greg White on the phone Monday. He says he has no new information and that the case is still under investigation. When I asked if he could confirm if Bailey Vieth ran away from home, he referred me to the county's most recent news release, which retracted any information about running away.

Bailey Vieth was last seen at her home in Jefferson City. She stands four feet tall and weighs about 90 pounds. If you have information on Bailey's whereabouts you are urged to contact the Cole County Sheriff's Department at (573) 634-9160.

Cole County Sheriff Greg White said little Thursday during a news confernece regarding Wednesday's recovery of 11-year-old Bailey Vieth, missing since July 29. But the girl's non-custodial mother, 37-year-old Rebecca Albrecht now faces felony child abduction and perjury. KRCG's Mallory McGowin explains what else we do know.

Cole County authorities say 11-year-old Baily Vieth is in a safe location and in good health. Her mother is behind bars.
