The excuses have suddenly become even more outlandish with the release of the warrants and of course he is still blabbing away, looking more insane than ever. In his opinion, these warrants totally exclude Jason and point to the "real killers".

Well, considering the specific dark shirt he was seen wearing as he left the hotel should have been in his luggage upon being seized (and Ma helped to verify that he didn't unpack, etc.) - then dang, that is one really professional house cleaner!

No, not for touch DNA. The sample collection method and analysis is consistent with with other DNA sampling techniques.

Kim Young, JYs older sister, lives in Aberdeen or at least use to. She was the one who reported finding a portion of one of Michelle's teeth after LE released the residence. That is why I called her the tooth fairy. She is also the one who got on the message boards and accused Linda Fisher of stealing these items, accused Meredith of murdering her own sister and quite frankly was quite venomous in her defense of Jason. Calling her a tooth fairy was generous.

Shuze I have to say I have been studying on the articles that LE listed they were looking for. One that really intrigues me is the egg shaped sterling silver toothbox. These aren't that big, not that valuable in terms of dollars, especially in silver.

I quess Jason kept the toothbox in his closet ? Seems like a very intimate thing to take and not an incredibly expensive item when compared to wedding rings, especially platnum bands even. This just seems very odd to me. Puzzle puzzle. Study on that one will you ?

Keep in mind that KY accused the Fishers of taking all this stuff. Maybe LE needs to take a look at sister Kim's house, if she is still there anyhow, she seems to have a fascination with teeth.

After killing Michelle at 2:45 am, his plan was to gather the heist, stage the scene a bit and get back on his way around 3:15 am...arriving back at the hotel around 5:45 am . Did he expect to get back in the hotel with the propped door at that time ? Since his room was empty, reckon he planned to be seen in the lobby before 6 am, dressed , reading the paper to cement his alibi ?

Of course, the extra time in the home tending to the bloody mess destroyed this plan....he had no time to stop at the hotel, so he drove straight through to Clintwood va, arriving 30 minutes late.

"Dammit..I couldn't get that stupid rock...oh well"

Questions: DD can you ask your dna man about the dna found in the blood spatter? If it's his blood then that's really good evidence but with him living there couldn't the defense say he touched the wall and that's how it got there? I know I'm missing the details here but I can't make out from the reports exactly the specifics of the dna and how it's incriminating to the time that Michelle was killed.

The phone or phones. Nothing to show his driving pattern? If his luggage was left in the car, phones turned off or batteries taken out I smell premeditation. Wouldn't the lack of phone pings be incriminating? He can't just say he turned them off because now they still ping while turned off. He didn't go back to the hotel to get anything. Probably planned to go back and clean up though.

Now the driving time. ( I know RC is gonna answer this) The SUV was seen 4 to 5 am, he has to clean up somewhere and make it to the meeting. Doable?

Jason Young's mamma has probably already stashed sonny in the back of someone's big moving van (unbeknownst to them). He's probably headed for the border, complete with fried chicken, gin, money, clothes and such. She's probably got it all planned out for him to make it to a destination and survive. Just my thought - the two different shoe prints on the pillow tends to suggest to me that he cleaned up in the home. I think it is possible the "staged" scene with the jewelry box and the missing drawers may have been somewhat of an after thought to him thus two shoe prints left.

It has been said - apparently by various sources to include his friends, that he was late for his meeting in Clintwood. It would be interesting to see the actual footage at the hotel - what did he have with him when he checked in and did he have the same with him when he was seen leaving ? The warrants seem to indicate he was seen leaving but not seen returning to the hotel so I have to think this supports the concept that he cleaned up, changed clothes and shoes at his home after the murder. Packed up the evidence and headed straight to the meeting place. JMO

Athy that is possible of course. Someone could have been with him but I think ot would have to be someone very close to him. It is also possible someone helped him after the fact - as in entered the house to remove evidence to help. Just my opinion, seems the only DNA evidence reported related to JY. Not sure LE would discuss other DNA in a search warrant for residences where JY has lived since the murder so this leaves the possiblity open. Were I to guess who a possible second person could have been - it would be a family member and not a friend for the simple reason that a partial DNA profile was found on the jewelry box - the profile could not exclude Jy which indicates to me there is a possibility the family tree could possibly be included. Big sis - size 10 shoe, maybe so will look at some videos again - IIRC she isn't a whole lot smaller than JY. She did an interview saying she had been to the house many times, even taking her dogs. I doubt she volunteered an DNA sample.

Unless they have his print (they would have said so in PC), that rock could have been placed by anyone....except if another guest used it, they would have kicked it away once they opened the door from outside.

I did read on a Norvo Nordisk message board where their employees were discussing. Jason about a year ago. Some of them had no idea about him, esp. the people he sells to in South Carolina. They were saying how he had a girlfriend in SC or GA and she must not know about him.

He and Mamma are out doing the countryside, because Mamma figgers Sonny ain't gonna git no vacations in prison. They may be visiting Mexico soon, if you know what I mean. Mamma will leave him there to start his new life as Paco Mierda.

We don't know if the cops have exculpatory evidence. We know they had unmatched prints in the home. There was a rumor of using a trac phone to make calls to his cell outside the murder timeline.


OK, let's pretend this rumor is true about the trac phone - We now know from the SW that Jason never returned to the hotel (no key or video records) - so, what purpose does using the trac phone serve since his own cell phone couldn't be in the room for him to retrieve? I'm on the fence on wether or not he had help, but with 2 sets of prints at the scene and a rumored untraceable phone call - I don't know - I'm leaning towards the fact that he had help and that is what the hold up is in making an arrest. JMO

The cell could have been hidden behind a tree near the Hampton, not necessarily in the room. Returning from Raleigh to Clintwood would take him 1000' from the hotel.

I don't buy the trac phone rumor. For it to work, he would have had to call his phone after 2 am. Who does that outside of an emergency ?

He was on the 3rd floor and checked in with luggage. "Propping ' the room door to go out to grab something he forgot is preposterous.

Sounds like missing dark pullover shirt is the big thing the cops have where he has no reasonable explanation. They can spin the shoes, the 'light colored SUV, the DNA and all the CE that smells to high heaven.

Maybe he will say he put the dark pullover on cause it was warmer to go out to his car in the cold for something he forgot. When he came back in the propped room door, he undressed and tossed the garment on the floor and missed it when he packed Friday am. He will say the maid cleaning the room never turned it in, as she kept it for a relative

I still think this shirt will be the smoking gun for the jury.

Another thing his attorney will say is the video still shows JLY heading for the side exit with no luggage. They will say that is because it was in his room and he was simply going out for something he forgot .

Unfortunately, the 14 video cameras just record a few seconds and then move to another view. The video captured his image 1/2 down the hall. before he reached the side stairwell and the side exit

I think the rock left propping the door is a very incriminating find. Just the way in which it is detailed in the recently released warrent, I think, shows the importance of it.
The rock is found positioned to allow the door to stay open, someone finds that rock propping the door open. Jason Young is seen on hotel video approximately one hour after his checking in. He is dressed in different clothes. He doesn't use his keycard again. The next day a hotel maid uses a keycard to enter his room. Another thing his attorney will say is the video still shows JLY heading for the side exit with no luggage. They will say that is because it was in his room and he was simply going out for something he forgot .
Unfortunately, the 14 video cameras just record a few seconds and then move to another view. He walked down the side stairwell with his luggage, leaving it at the bottom of the stairs. He then walked to the front desk at 11:59 pm and obtained a copy of his bill. He then headed for the side exit, grabbed his bag and left for Raleigh.
The video captured his image 1/2 down the hall. before he reached the side stairwell and the side exit

If he was not late cleaning up blood, he would have more than enough time to slip back in his room, grab the receipt, the newspaper in front of the door and head downstairs to get coffee and be seen hanging around the lobby like nothing happened.

I just wanted to let you know what I found out this weekend.

One of my friends, was dear friends with Michelle. I don't know how, but apparently is pictured with her on some of the pictures that have been shown on WRAL.

After I told her that I was truly sorry for her loss, I said "If you don't mind me asking, do you think the husband did it?" She then went into a rant about what an awful person he was and how she hopes it isn't long before he was locked up.

I realize most of us feel this way, but to hear someone close to her say it, really confirmed it for me.

If anyone has anything they would like me to ask my friend, just let me know, and next time I see her I'll see if she doesn't mind talking about it.

This case grabbed me at the very beginning, and Michelle Young and her little unborn son, and little Cassidy all deserve justice. I have much confidence that we will soon see it happen:clap:. I have faith in the LE people of Wake county, and know they want justice as much, or more than anyone!


I think the rock left propping the door is a very incriminating find. Just the way in which it is detailed in the recently released warrent, I think, shows the importance of it.
The rock is found positioned to allow the door to stay open, someone finds that rock propping the door open. Jason Young is seen on hotel video approximately one hour after his checking in. He is dressed in different clothes. He doesn't use his keycard again. The next day a hotel maid uses a keycard to enter his room. I think we'll hear even more about this at trial, and it will be shown to have a lot of weight in this case. It does make me all the more aware, though, of Michelle's loss of her chance to raise her babies as well as Cassidy's loss of her Mama who loved her so much. I can only pray that there will be justice.

I stayed at a Marriot Courtyard a couple of weeks ago and the manager and two clerks were at the front desk at 7:15 am. Busy place. I don't know about the Hilton but the Marriott CY has lots of business people during the week and there was a lot of activity that time of the morning. Somebody must have seen him then, as well as the camera. LE probably has more than what has been revealed, I would think.

She finally admitted to it.....after becoming born-again and was sentenced to 25/30 years.

So I believe that Michelle Young will have justice. It make just take two more years.

Hey there JTF! Just coming up to speed on this case. Surprised he didn't put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on his door to ensure the maid didn't enter until he was good and ready for her to.

So the door where he put the rock did NOT have a video camera on it? Hmmm...I would think a video camera on each entrance/exit would be a no-brainer for a hotel.

While he got caught on some cameras he was lucky in not getting caught being shown the entire sequence. Those cameras rotate the view IIRC.

Hey Scandi!!:hug:So good to see you here! I understand why they do it but I don't understand how they can think rationally afterwards. I mean, they are not professional killers and the adrenelin must be pumping big time for them to makes mistakes. Any normal person would be having nightmares for the rest of their lives. I suppose immediate justification and survival kicks in.

I have to say I'm comforted to find out that he left his DNA on the wall and at least one shoe print. Hopefully there are more mistakes that we don't know about.

Hey there JTF! Just coming up to speed on this case. Surprised he didn't put the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on his door to ensure the maid didn't enter until he was good and ready for her to.

So the door where he put the rock did NOT have a video camera on it? Hmmm...I would think a video camera on each entrance/exit would be a no-brainer for a hotel.

While he got caught on some cameras he was lucky in not getting caught being shown the entire sequence. Those cameras rotate the view IIRC.

good article...57 NC women this year along have been murdered by their spouse/bf according to this article. North Carolina ranks 9th in the nation in regards to murders of women.

I am so disgusted. What is it.... Do these Southern Men think that they have it in their rights.... to do this..... starting to wonder how these men are raised... AND I AM A SOUTHERN GIRL. :eek:

Unfortunately, I think this is only the tip of the iceberg. This is an 'all about me' world these days imo. In many cases, 'Do unto others....only seems to apply 'if there's something in it for me'. Everytime we have one of these high profile murders these guys learn more tricks and it's harder for the DA to get a conviction.

I don't know what the answer is but it's very disturbing.

I stayed Tuesday night in a Marriott Springhill Suites hotel (similar design to his Hampton). The only video they had was at the front desk....no video at all anywhere else.

Without video, the cops would not have the shirt -smoking gun .

Even though the video was not perfect, at least he was stupid enough not to realize the cameras recorded. :crazy:

Yeah, but! They know he wore it and they can ask him where it is and he can lie or he can produce it. Either way that is something especially if they found fibers indicative of the shirt in Michelle's bedroom on her body.
