Let's Harness the Power of Prayer
Evil CAN be resisted and overcome
The power of prayer has been proven for thousands of years. Recent scientific research has begun to weigh in as well, proving the effectiveness of prayer. Even among strangers, over long distances, when the person prayed for had no idea what was happening.
Skeptical?
How can this possibly work?
I'm sure there are those who will read this or hear about it and conclude that I'm not playing with a full deck. That something like praying for these kids can't possibly work. That it could even cause more damage by raising hope and expectation among the families of these children.
So for you skeptics who have not yet experienced the true power of God's prayer, I suggest a modified "Pascal's Wager."
Even if you don't believe it will work, pray anyway. (God can handle the prayers of those with mixed motivations just as he can handle the prayers of avowed atheists.) Just go ahead and pray. If nothing happens, you will have lost nothing more than 5 minutes out of your day. On the other hand, you just might wind up participating in something that could have ripples in millions of lives. Including yours.
So go ahead. Don't let fear make your decision, let love. Pray for the children. Pray for a child. Look at the picture of the child you have chosen or been led to, look into that child's eyes, and then let your heart speak: that can be your prayer.

:grouphug: Wanted to post this for all of you wonderful parents out there. My family has Caylee in our prayers and we wish for her safe return. Every child is precious.
To My Child
Just for this morning, I am going to smile when I see your face and laugh when I feel like crying.
Just for this morning, I will let you choose what you want to wear, and smile and say how perfect it is.
Just for this morning, I am going to step over the laundry, and pick you up and take you to the park to play.
Just for this morning, I will leave the dishes in the sink, and let you teach me how to put that puzzle of yours together.
Just for this afternoon, I will unplug the telephone and keep the computer off, and sit with you in the backyard and blow bubbles..
Just for this afternoon, I will not yell once, not even a tiny grumble when you scream and whine for the ice cream truck, and I will buy you one if he comes by.
Just for this afternoon, I won't worry about what you are going to be when you grow up, or second guess every decision I have made where you are concerned.
Just for this afternoon, I will let you help me bake cookies, and I won't stand over you trying to fix them.
Just for this afternoon, I will take us to McDonald's and buy us both a Happy Meal so you can have both toys.
Just for this evening, I will hold you in my arms and tell you a story about how you were born and how much I love you.
Just for this evening, I will let you splash in the tub and not get angry.
Just for this evening, I will let you stay up late while we sit on the porch and count all the stars.
Just for this evening, I will snuggle beside you for hours, and miss my favorite TV shows.
Just for this evening when I run my finger through your hair as you pray, I will simply be grateful that God has given me the greatest gift ever given.
I will think about the mothers and fathers who are searching for their missing children, the mothers and fathers who are visiting their children's graves instead of their bedrooms, and mothers and fathers who are in hospital rooms watching their children suffer senselessly, and screaming inside that they can't handle it anymore.
And when I kiss you good night I will hold you a little tighter, a little longer. It is then, that I will thank God for you, and ask him for nothing, except one more day..............

My prayers have been for the return of Caylee since this story hit the news.
I am praying for a miracle! Miracles do happen! I have seen them in my own life!

Praying for that sweet little girl, that she's safe (wherever she is), at peace, not hurting or afraid.
And praying that anyone who may have had a hand in bringing any harm to a hair on her head will face judgement, be punished, and tormented by their actions (or lack thereof).
Gotta leave this thread now. It makes me cry.

i pray that all missing people be found and justice brought to them .. i pray that caylee is found safe and alive . so that she can once again hug the people that love her and sleep in her bed ,play with her toys.. read her favorite book . and hold her favorite stuffed animal . please send a sign .. i pray this ends soon and that if on the chance caylee is with you lord you let us know somehow . we all love her she has touched our hearts and souls . i pray for an end to this case one way or another . and lord if caylee is with you i pray you cast your judgement on whoever has done her harm .

I have been praying for darling little Caylee since I saw her story on the news. She is in my thoughts from morning to night. I go to sleep praying for her and I wake up praying for her. God Bless Caylee! I am praying that the outcome to this is a very happy one. Thinking otherwise makes me bawl.
This is one of my favorite poems and it reminds a little of Caylee. I have no idea who wrote it but someone sent it to me when my grandma died.

Dear God, I know that if Caylee is no longer in her earthly body, she is safely tucked away in the comfort of your arms, and in that, I take solace. On the chance though, that this sweet baby is still with us here... Lord I pray that you will keep her safe from harm and bring to light the truth so that we can all rest from our worry for her. I know that you are in control, and you have a master plan. Help me to remember that.. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you that you hear and answer all prayers. Not always what we hope for, but you hear and answer them.
I ask Lord that you soften the hearts of those who know just where Caylee is.Wether she is alive or not, give strength to those who know, to open their mouths and tell.
There are so many whos lives this event has touched. We long for Caylee to be found.

All of us are hoping beyond hope that you will walk in the door at your GP and GM's but if not you are in God's hands .. So "From Our Hearts To God's Hands" and those hands will comfort you forever sweet little one.. This saying Caylee gives me much peace as it is on my Little Grand-Daughters head stone we gave her.. and I wish this peace for you to Dear Sweet Little one. Please Lord let this little sweet Caylee be put to rest the way she deserves.. bring her to find her final resting place where all that have worried and loved this dear child can visit her and know where she is besides in heaven with you.. Lord you know where she is because you see and know everything we cannot hide anything from you, you Lord are all knowing and all seeing. Please be with Caylee wherever she is and help those who love her to have some kind of closure. As hard as it is for me to pray for her Lord, please give Casey the strength to tell her family where Caylee is and tell them what happened. Lord, I pray for a miracle for this sweet little girl. Please let her be safe somewhere....I know that it's only through You Lord that a miracle like this could happen. Lord, please just be with the entire Anthony family during this time! I pray for Caylee all the time, and I see her alive and smiling in my minds eye.
I hope she is safe and taken care of somewhere, anywhere.
And I pray that she will be back and not with her Mom.
I pray that someone deserving will get to raise this precious child.

Please somehow give us a sign if Caylee is alive. Please protect her and give her comfort and let her feel the love from the millions of people around the world that are thinking of her. We are all looking for her and praying that she is alive and well. If she has come home to you, please the authorities the wisdom to find her and let her have a proper final resting place. Lord God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, and all that is in it, both seen and unseen. Please Lord, give to Casey courage to speak the truth, and please Lord God, give to Caylee's grandparents the strength that only You can give, to face the truth.
Lord God, You said we would know the Truth, and the Truth would set us free. Hiding under lies is hurtful to all concerned. So, Lord for all their sakes, move on these hearts to give and to receive the truth. Lord God, please as only You can do, as the truth is finally given and received, please let Your peace be upon them. Strengthen them in the days and years ahead, and help them be comforted in peace. Lord, our hearts break for Caylee, and her family, we want so much Lord for justice to prevail for Caylee. I know You know Lord, what has happened and You said, "Everything hidden will be revealed." So Lord, as only You can do, let all these things come together in the most merciful way for all of the Anthony family, whom Caylee loves both now and forever, no matter what. Thank You Lord God, in Your dear Son we pray.
Lord, please help Cindy forgive Casey truly and sincerely, and let Casey see it, and know it. They have the opportunity right now Lord to begin healing while Casey is in the home, Lord please let this begin to happen, so Casey can finally do the right thing.

Lord,Caylee is gone now from this earthly dwelling, and has left behind those who mourn her absence. Please grant the Anthony family peace. Console them with Your blessed Presence and grant them the courage to persevere until they meet Caylee again with you in heaven.
Heavenly father through your holy spirit grant Casey the strength to tell the truth and the courage to ask forgiveness and face justice.
God, may your grace enkindle in all of us a love for the Anthonys and the ability to forgive them for all they have done. Grant us the strength to admit we cannot understand the pain of their circumstances.

Dear God,
I pray that what is now is in the darkness will be brought to light and this precious little angel that you so lovingly bestowed upon someone who did not deserve her will have justice. We now know that this little girls life was not in vain, she has touched so many people just by her short time here on earth. I pray God that because of Caylee's story and her mothers shortcomings that all of us parents will hold our children closer, protect them even harder, and try with all of our might to be the very best as parents for them. I pray God that you will bless all of the little children who are missing, hurt, abused, living in fear, and I pray that you will somehow comfort them in there times of terror. Maybe somewhere a parent will see this story and decide not to hurt their own child any longer, but get the help they need and turn the child over to someone who will love them.
Thank you Lord, for we must trust that you know more than we do about why something like this had to happen.

My son (4 1/2) and I have prayed for Caylee each and every day since this story broke, at both meal times and bed time. He is a highly compassionate person and asks about Caylee from time to time. It breaks my heart... truely does.

I am praying for all who are involved in this in any way. To outsiders, this is excrutiating. To insiders -- how much worse!
Prayers continue for those who are working so hard against such odds to find or to solve the mystery of Caylee. How much this is wearing on them, in those I've seen interviewed... May you all find the strength, wisdom, insight, and knowledge you need to put things together to find and bring Caylee home. May you find times of rest so that you can continue in this very difficult and taxing work. Thanks SO much for your dedication. This includes those volunteers, incl. those here, who have braved heat & hard conditions to search.
Prayers also for the Anthony family ... You have not asked for prayers that I know of (did I miss it?), but you have them, from many of us. You are going through something we cannot imagine, and honestly, some of it of your own doing. This just gets more bizarre, with no sense at all. BE THAT AS IT MAY ... I pray that you will find ways to cope with this terrible situation in positive ways. Wanted to share what I have been doing in prayer. I have recentley read a book about the power angels have to help you if you ask. I have done this several times in my own life and it has worked wonders! I figure it cant hurt in this case. All you have to do is ask the angel for help and they will try to assist in anyway they can. There is an Angel named Metatrons according to the book I read he works with Mother Mary to help children both living and crossed over. He is to be called upon for any kind of assistance you may need with children. Also the Angel Uriel who is called upon for troubling situations i which there needs to be a problem solved. Finally Angel Chamuel who can help find people/things that seem to be lost forever.
