It looked a little thin, but maybe just cuz it was nursing. I just know it seemed it wanted to be up there with us for some reason. It would creep up a few feet and stop. Then creep a few more when we werent looking, then stop. We noticed how much closer it was each time we would look. When we left, we looked back, and it went on up to the memorial. I wondered if maybe it was looking for someone to feed it. I could have been wrong.
Hubby said we just didnt have time to go there today. I want to go and take more pics... and just feel. I dont know how to put that. Does anyone understand?

I hope somebody didn't leave her out there.. Do people leave candy at the site I wonder. Hopefully she is just a local hound & feels protective over the site, They have gifts & no one can tell me any different.

Remember How i said in the beginning.. I was going to pray that God puts such a heavy burden on someones heart that they have to come forward. In a way I have been feeling guilty if that is what has happen to Vicky. i just don't know now if I should of been praying that !!

See... here she is in this picture. She started way down the road... down there at Plackers. Their driveway is down there as far as you can see the road go in this picture.
She doesnt look hungry there. (this was before she had her pups, obviously) She is probably being fed well. She is just probably confused.

Awwwww I think she is all right. Now that I saw another pic of her, I believe she probably belonged to Taylor and she is just confused. Wonders why Taylor's scent was there, but Taylor isnt, and now all these people. Vicky is probably feeding her. Don't 'cha think? :bateyes:

Don't get me wrong, I feel very sad about this too (I'm not implying that's what you meant by that, just throwing it out there), I just have diverse (albeit sometimes misplaced) ways of dealing with it. ;)
I may upload some of the music when it's done (usually takes a while, I tend to be a perfectionist). Not sure how many songs there will be, typically the harder something hits me (and no, I don't mean like a wrecking ball or the girlfriend with a rolling pin, like others have suggested lol), the more songs come out of it. So far, with this tragedy, I am up to 412.

The name was Courtney, and I asked the receptionist to have HER call me when SHE gets back in the office. Imagine my surprise when she said, "Okay, I will have HIM call you back." Thank you Frog. It's been said that while it often takes a lifetime to trust someone, one word can destroy it all. I just don't want that one misplaced joke to be the "one word" that destroys (or even stresses) the friendships I seem to have made on this forum :) .
In my humble opinion, I feel that Taylor and Skyla wouldn't want us to be sad all the time, but rather try to be happy and live our lives to the fullest, because they couldn't :cry: .
Anyway, I guess I better get back on topic here before I get smacked with the proverbial ruler, or worse (a rolling pin?). :D

I think posting that picture of the doggie was fine. It actually made me feel better. I know now that it isnt a stray and belongs to someone. I am sure Vicky feeds it. I believe she is still out there. A white car was there and locals say so. the doggie is probably fine. She probably loves it alot because it was taylors. It just gave me a sad feeling the way it kinda crept up on us. Its just all sad, but you know, a LOT of love has come out of this. When a door closes, God opens another. =) We are all witness to that now. And as much as we want this over, we will miss each other. But lets pray its over soon. We can meet and celebrate!!!

According to a very basic MapQuest search, Tampa Bay to Weleetka is approximately 1197.26 miles, and from Willoughby OH it is approximately 1037.53 miles. Quite a haul for either of us! :)

I hear ya, Frog... I will certainly miss everyone on this board. But then, even when they catch the person(s), there's still a lot more to go, what with the trial and everything. Also, there's nothing written that says when the trial is over and news grinds to a halt that we have to say goodbye.
That being said, I am all for getting together to celebrate (and I KNOW there will be a reason to). :)

Check flying in to OKC and to Tulsa. I don't know if there would be a big price difference or not. I could pick you up in Tulsa easier than OKC but if I knew enough in advance I could drive to OKC to get you too. Either way.

Well who knows what they are thinking -I am just glad they are still doing something - although it seems a little late to us, they know more than we do - it sounds like they are zeroing in on a certain area - which encompasses certain people. Maybe they are getting ready to make a move (I hope and pray). I am hoping Sheza's casino trip and a new day of rumors might bring this closer to being solved. As sad as this is to say, obviously their priorities aren't their murdered grandchild's pets. It seems odd to me that they aren't!
America has donated monies to them, too bad there wasn't a separate fund for the pets. I just don't think anyone ever thought the family wouldn't care for them...........freaking sad!:sheesh:

She didnt look unhealthy. If she had, I would have done something. But I live an hour and about 20 min away, and I have 3 pekingese and a persian cat. I cant take her. Yes, they were probably safe, otherwise they would probably have been trailing her. And there was a white car there, and a turquoise pickup with a red tailgate, so I know the dogs weren't alone.
I probably should have never mentioned my concern. I think it is just my nature to want to look after things, and since I saw she was nursing, I wanted to feed her. Peter and Vickie and a (girl in her 20's shoulder lenght dark brown hair about 5'4) was with them. I have got to get one of those picture cell phones! I know what their daughter Jennifer looks like it was not her, I've not seen Linda K.
Anyway, PP is the gambler (not a big gambler) Vickie sat in one place with $5.00 on her machine and the dark haired girl stood behind Vickie reminding her to push the start button (Vickie did not seem interested) Peter was kinda everywhere playing different machines but I never saw him play more than $10 at a time and they only stayed about an hour. I did not approach Vickie, but I asked the girl with them if she had won anything she laughed and said she had already lost her $20.
Later I finally got a chance to sit near Peter, I asked Peter if there was any money left to win or had he won it all already..he laughed and said he hadn't hit/won anything,
I told him I would show'm how it's done...after a bit Peter said his daughter told him you have to talk-to-it (the machine)> I just said I'm fixing to talk to it!
So I'm thinking the girl with them was his daughter.
The Plackers and I only know each other as living in the same area.

My walmart pet guys tells me that Ole Roy puppy food and lamb rice food are the best of ole roy brand :D

I was suspicious of PP right from day one. I just don't want to push the fact that I think he is guilty of these crimes . So many unanswered questions, Peter disturbed the crime scene to get Taylor's cell phone but did not call the police. Why not? What did he do in the timeframe between finding them and telling Skyla's GMa that "they are gone" Now I hear the Vicky also called the police, does anyone have a link to that? Is it true that Joe Mosher was the person who origianlly saw the POI? That in my mind is a load of crap. Peter, Vicky and Joe need to start telling the truth.

I forgot... sorry... but Sheza asked me to tell you all, that Plackers didnt look like big spenders. They looked like they just nickel and dime the slots. Just something to do to pass the time and take their minds off of things. Maybe something to do to get away. She said Vicky really didnt look good. She has lost alot of weight, and seemed spacy. Like she wasn't really there in her mind. Not like the lady she would see at the supermarker or post office or somewhere, who always wore a smile.
God Bless her soul! Those of us who pray, lets please try to remember her in our prayers. I dont know how she is hanging on! Sheza said it appeared they are just trying to get her out of the house.

At the time of the murders the families had hundreds of people, media ect. for any of us nieghbors to make a home visit. I feel it would be ok now and planning on it this week.
I'll mention the dog :).. After reading what you all wrote about this dog I felt sorry for the poor thing, seen it many many times and never once..oh well never mind.

The cemetary attendant told me, Friday.... that he thought she was creamated. someone else told me they heard she was creamated AFTER the funeral, and now rests in her favorite place, her bedroom. I dont know if this is true, but have no reason to doubt it.

I think most the motel owners are of a different nationality... unless something has changed. I doubt they would give us a discount. Now maybe if we had media there, that may be a different story. we could get Channel 2 in tulsa to come do a story.... of our love for these girls, who brought us together.
It's so sad, but wouldnt the girls be thrilled knowing what has developed from this?
Maybe we need to get OSBI there and/or have a march on the courthouse? lol I may be going overboard. I think they need to keep so many things under their hats! Cant jeopardize the case. We wouldnt want that to happen as far as we have gone. Maybe we should wait a little bit longer and see if anything else developes? Something to think about.

Oh lord........I was just catching up and I'm sitting here crying.....I love labs and I just lost one and about to lose another....so all I have left is SERRADAMMIT...We have 3 acres (fenced) but I'll have to talk to my husband. What I meant was we have early warning systems and all of the new meteorology competitive stuff between news stations, radars, doppler, etc. at least gives us a heads up if the conditions are ripe. In the olden days they had to figure everything mathemathically and weren't able to warn people at all ahead of time. That is what I meant by we knew when they are coming, I didn't mean they aren't dangerous anymore by any means. And my earthquake comment simply meant out there they never get any advanced warning before an earthquake. I was just trying to put her worries to ease that she would be with people who know who to listen to and what to do if there was one.
