A Byron Center man is still missing after he disappeared from his house on Friday morning.
The family of Crawford "Dean" Lewis, says he is diabetic and doesn't have his medicine with him -- and they're worried. They said he could lapse into a diabetic coma after 48 hours without appropriate treatment.
Lewis is a 55-year-old white male with white hair, is about 5'10" tall and weighs about 185 pounds. He also wears glasses and has a few weeks of white facial hair growth. He was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt and blue jeans with black work boots. He has a tatoo of a heart on his left bicep.
His stepdaughter, Kristin Pickett, said he left the house around 10 a.m. Friday morning when no one else was at home in a 2005 black Ford Taurus with about a half a tank of gas. She said he didn't have very much money on him, and their online banking records show he hasn't used a credit or ATM card since he disappeared.
The family has filed a missing persons report with the Kent County Sheriff's Department.
Lewis recently started treatment for depression after being laid off from his job, and doesn't have medicine for that or his diabetes.
Anyone with any information about the location of Crawford "Dean" Lewis can call the Kent County Sheriff's Department at (616) 632-6110.
