Tom Timko pulled over on the side of the road and then back into traffic. His little 8 year old daughter was in the back seat of his vehicle when Timko was shot in the head. He's in critical condition. The little girl was not physically harmed by what I'd say is a miracle.

At the link is another incident of road rage in around the same area where a man pulled a gun on a woman due to road rage and her 2 year old was in the car.

People are nuts. This is one thing made me a nervous wreck about my child going in the car with my ex-husband. He's a short, skinney guy with a big mouth and no firearm. Always had the road rage. It came to pass he got the living crapolla beat out of him not too long ago by a young guy who puled him out of his car and beat him senseless. Reading about these nutters makes me a nervous wreck.

The man who shot Mr. Timko hasn't been found. Oh and the surveilance cameras were working on the highway, BUT not recording.

We live in a scary day and age. You can get killed by someone just driving your car down the road....sitting on your front porch...walking in the parking lot of a mall, etc. Makes a person hesitate to go anywhere. Heck, you can be sleeping in your own home and get murdered. There are so many crazies now days. They think the solution to everything is get their gun out a blow someone away.

I'm glad neither of the little kids were hurt in the road rage incidents. Those nuts don't care if there are kids in the car or not. I don't blame you for being afraid when your child has to ride with its dad. He must be a real hot head.

So sad. There was a case last year in my town where a family's car stalled and the man behind them was hanging out of the window yelling and cursing at them. They got the car started, continued down the road and the guy followed them. They said they were scared and didn't want him to follow them home so they pulled over and the guy also stopped. An arguement occured between the two men and the woman got out to try and get her husband back in the car. Her young son got out also because he was worried about mom and he was shot in the head and killed.

This stuff is the stuff that keeps me awake at night anf scares the bejesus out of me.. there are soo many over stressed freaky people who just pull out a gun to resolve their issues... some inocent is usually the victim.. ( not always but many times)

This little girl is a extremely brave little hero.. she saved her dads life. I cant image how scared she must have been at age 8 to have someone shooting at you . realize your dad has been shot and that you need to get help in the dark of night in the middle of a road.. her actions likely gave her dad a chance to survive this.. but she will be left with scars of this night forever.. and she simply was riding with her dad on her way home from a visit. Totally innocent..until some psychopath decided in their infinite wisdom that a gun was the solution.. I can only hope that catch this loser and he/she feels the terror this child felt in those horrifying moments...
