This case bothers me, I pass by this location on the way up to my BF's house every weekend. There was hardly any media coverage on her missing persons case until now :( And even at that it is just a small write up about her. Makes me angry, it's almost like her case wasn't important enough to even put on the news, every life is important no matter the circumstances!

The Berks County coroner has identified the decomposed body found in a wooded area of Richmond Township on Monday. He says it was Janine Todt , who lived near the area where her body was found on Moselem Church Road. As you may remember, the 42 year old Richmond Township woman was reported missing back in August. The coroner says dental records were used to ID her, but more tests are needed to determine how Todt died.

Body found in Richmond Township identified as that of missing woman
From our news staff
A body found in a wooded area off Moselem Church Road in Richmond Township was identified Wednesday as that of a 43-year-old township woman who had been reported missing three months ago, officials in the Berks County coroner's office said.
The skeletal remains of Janine Todt were found by hunters Monday on the property of Moselem Springs Golf Club, authorities said.
After an autopsy failed to identify the remains, the coroner's office called in a forsenics expert to make the identification using dental records, Coroner Dennis J. Hess said.
The cause and manner of Todt's death have not yet been determined, Hess said. He said his office has ordered further tests as part of the investigation.

Authorities scale back search for missing Richmond Township woman
From our news staff
Fleetwood police and fire personnel said Monday that they are scaling back the search for a 42-year-old Richmond Township woman who has been missing since late Saturday.
Fleetwood police, who patrol Richmond Township, said Janine M. Todt suffers from a sleeping disorder for which she takes medication. She often walks near her residence in the 200 block of Moselem Church Road late at night and may have become disoriented and unable to find her way home, police said.
Todt is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 135 to 145 pounds. She has short hair. It was unknown what clothing she was wearing.

Janine lived on the 200 block of Moselm Church Rd she was found in the 100 block. It is a rural part of Berks county PA where she lived but it isn't desolate. There is a large private gold course with a good sized pond near her house. I don't even know if they even searched the pond. Not that it would have mattered because she wasn't in the pond but one would think they would look there. She was very close to her house, I have no idea why the search was called off and why she wasn't found. I drive by there every weekend although I drive on Moselm Springs Road (which runs parallel to Moselm Chruch Rd) There are a lot of questions I think need to be answered.
