This is the case of Alexis Dillard, missing student from the University of Kansas. It is a case which parallels very closely with the "River Killers"/ "Smiley Face Killers" cases of the upper midwest.

Thank you for bringing this over, I had posted it there on LTWH a while back, in addition to leaving a message on another site that is dedicated to these cases. However, I don't believe it was ever added on that site to their lists. I have not checked there recently though.
This case has always seemed to fit exactly with the others, even though it is a bit earlier in time than most of those. I check occasionally for new information, but have never found anything. My older two children both attended KU, so it has been of special interest to me.
