WI- Missing UW- Milwaukee Student Jessica Malecek (19/F)

The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Police Department has issued an alert to locate a missing student. Jessica Malecek has been missing since Tuesday.

The 19-year-old freshman was last seen at her residence hall located on the corner of Downer Ave. and Kenwood Blvd. around 1 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Malecek is described as white, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. She has shoulder-length blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information about Malecek is asked to call UWM police at (414) 229-4627

Jessica Malecek is from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin.

She has been found and is home now safe.

A University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee student who had been reported missing was found safe Thursday night, a university official said.
Jessica Malecek, 19, had not been seen since about 1 p.m. Tuesday, when she was seen in her residence hall.
Malecek returned to campus late Thursday, and someone who recognized her called university police, said Tom Luljak, vice chancellor for university relations.
Malecek told police she had been with friends since Tuesday and did not know people were looking for her, Luljak said.
