Milwaukie police said tips from concerned citizens indicate a missing 15-year-old girl and suspected sex offender were seen in the Portland-Vancouver Metro Area as recently as Thursday.
An alert was issued up and down the West Coast as detectives search for Nikki Warner and Robert Best, 34, a Milwaukie man they believe the girl ran away with.
Warner was last seen in Oregon City last month. Detectives believe she ran off with Best after meeting him on a telephone chat line.
Police said Warner could be in danger.

Police believe Best is driving a white 2004 Ford F-150 with Oregon license plates 622-BGK.
