The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is looking for information about the whereabouts of a St. Amant man missing for more than two months, said Chief Deputy Tony Bacala.
On Dec. 12, the Sheriff’s Office received a report that Mackie Charping, unknown age, was last seen Dec. 7, Bacala said in a news release.
At the time, Charping was driving a 2001 red Hyundai with Ohio license plate ENL 4762, deputies said.
On Feb. 12, Shreveport police located the Hyundai abandoned at an apartment complex and determined it had been there for about a month, according to the news release.
