The Highlands County Sheriffs Office is trying to locate a missing endangered woman and needs help from the community.

“Her mother said she was intoxicated, she got out of the car on the way home from the store,” said Detective Jamie Davidson of the HCSO. “Being an adult she is not missing unless she is a danger to herself or someone else.”

Rebecca Jane Spinks, 37, a white female with short blonde hair and blue eyes, has been missing since Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6 p.m.

The search for a local woman who went missing last Thursday night came to a close when she was found at Highlands Regional Medical Center.
Det. Jamie Davidson of the Highlands County Sheriff's Office said the assistance from the community after he reached out to media outlets helped.

Rebecca Jane Spinks, 37, was checked into the hospital on Friday, the day after she went missing. The HCSO were notified of her location shortly after she arrived.
