A Fairbanks family is hoping the public can help track down a 15-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a week.
Ebony Moore, 15, was last seen Feb. 5 when she left her grandmother’s Jillian Square home.
“I’m worried about my baby,” said Moore’s grandmother, Joyce Pendergrass.
Moore is described a black female with black hair and brown eyes. She is about 5 feet tall, medium-build and usually wears her hair in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing pink sweatpants and a beige coat. She also may be carrying a pink school bag.
The family believes that she may have been seen in the past week at the Noel Wein Library and could be staying with a boyfriend.
“We love her and we want her to come home,” Pendergrass said.
Anyone with information about the girl is asked to call Alaska State Troopers at 451-5100.
