I used to be able to surf the WS community while traveling on my Blackberry. When ads were first introduced, it would load with the ad with no problems. Since the introduction of additional ads on the side, I receive an error message that the Request Entity is too large.

I have a blackberry as well and it works fine for me. It could be your signal in the area.

If you think about it before you leave your computer, you can go here:

edit options (http://www.websleuths.com/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions)

and edit your Thread options to not display pictures/avatars/siggys and that might fix your problems.

I have no trouble using the forum on my iPhone, for the Blackberry JBean is the Blackberry Queen and you could ask her. I have been told the regular Blackberry browser is lousy but the Opera one works pretty well. Also you can also use the archive version of the board, which is very simple:

There are people that make templates that can be used for mobile devices, but I have had little luck with them, as they are not fully updated for the upgrades in vBulletin. The last one I tried here, for instance, would reset your time zone all by itself!

Thanks - I will try changing my settings. It is wierd, because I never had any problems at all accessing WS before.
