A Wellesley teenager was reported missing Wednesday, and may be in need of medical assistance, according to Wellesley police.
Police said they are searching for Justin Anderson, 17, who was last seen in the area of Washington Street and Cliff Road at about 7 a.m. on Tuesday. Officers used a town-wide alert system to send out a message to residents on Wednesday afternoon asking for help.
Anderson was wearing a plaid jacket and was carrying an olive-colored backup jacket when he was last seen, according to police.
Anderson is white, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has shaved brown hair.
