MISSION, TEXAS -- Mission police need your help finding a man accused of raping a 3 year old girl.

Police say Filemon Ramirez committed the crime in December of 2007, but his whereabouts remain a mystery today.

"We've been searching. We checked everywhere and we're asking the public if they have any information to contact the Mission Crime Stoppers line," said Mission Police Sgt. Jody Tittle.

My guess is that the media is not stating Ramirez's relationship to the victim in order to protect the victim's identity. IOW, he may have been there because he was a relative. But who knows...

I lived in the valley for most of my life and I can tell you it will be hard to find him. Not saying anything bad but so many people down there look/resemble him it will be easy for him to blend in. and Mexico is right there as well.
I hope they catch him though!

I wish LE would give more info about him: age, DOB, last known address, places he has be known to frequent, etc.
