Brigham City resident Christopher Jones was almost never out of touch with his mother for more than three hours, she said. But last Oct. 27, the 20-year-old left a note saying he was going to a job service office and to visit his sister he never got there and she never saw him again.
In late May, the family celebrated Chris' 21st birthday without him, said his mother, Judy Woolf.
Rick Wigginton, the young man's brother, said an informant said something that causes the family to fear Chris is dead. "We believe he's met an unfortunate demise," he said.

Body of Missing Brigham City Man Found
Jun. 14, 2004
(KSL News) -- The remains of a missing Brigham City man have been found.

20-year old Chris Jones disappeared seven and a half months ago, last seen leaving his mother's home in Brigham City.

His car was discovered today by people riding four-wheelers in the Willard Peak Basin area. They noticed a white pickup truck that had slid off the roadway and rolled 500 feet down a steep ravine.

Jones was apparently ejected from the car.

Authorities were called to the area. They recovered the body and have sent it to the medical examiner's office.
