Amber Alert: Mother takes 1-year-old child

A one-year-old child has been abducted by her mother, Willniesha Dunston.

Kalaya Dunston was taken from Arizona Mills Mall around 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Amber alert called off for girl taken from Tempe mall

A little girl who was the subject of an amber alert Friday afternoon has been found safe, according to Tempe police.

Sgt. Scott Smith said the girl and her mother were found in good condition in the area of 19th Avenue and Baseline Road at about 6 p.m.

14-month-old girl found safe, healthy

Tempe police have cancelled an Amber Alert involving a 14-month-old girl who was taken by her 19-year-old mother during a supervised visit at Arizona Mills on Friday.

The girl, Kalaya Dunston, who was in custody of Child Protective Services, was found in good health in central Phoenix. The mother, Willniesha Dunston, was taken into custody, police said.
